How old are you?: 15, 16 in a year. :P just had my B-day.

Time-Zone/Country of Residence: Eastern time zone in the U.S.

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, I am mostly anti-text lingo (on MC servers atleast) and understand English very well.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a for the most part average teenager. I enjoy sports, video games and hanging with friends.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: about 30-40 hours probably.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: RP is where you live another life in another world, without using outside information. To me it is very fun. Example, Normal server: “Anyone wanna join my faction?” RP: “I am currently raising an army to siege enemies of all of us, come find me if you wish to join.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I usually play on RP servers and do very well RPing.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-gaming is where you use knowledge from out of character, in character. It involves things like seeing nameplates (in my opinion), and knowing names just by looking at names.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power- Gaming is where you do something like use texts and not allow someone to do something back. Example: “John uses special move and Matt can’t move”.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I have very high expectations for this server. It seems it has a very large populance but still manages to keep things in control. I can’t wait!

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Well, I stopped playing MC for a while and decided to start again on here. I played on a lot of RP servers but most of them died and it become frustrating. I'm trying to remember the name of my last server but can't :P. Sorry.

Character Name: Mathus of the Sea

What Race are you?: Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Southeron

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): “ My name is Mathus of the sea, and this is my journal on how I got to the lands of Asulon. I was born and thrown away somewhere on some docks in the lands I now return to. A scholars trade ship decided to take me in. They gave me the name Mathus in recognition of their founder. They later added “”Of The Sea”” because I belonged to no one, had no place to truly belong to, and lived on the seas. The scholar leader at the time was a very nice man Salvius. He was very paranoid though. One day when we were camping by some ancient ruins, he thought he heard noises in the woods. He and several others decided to go deep in the woods to see if there was anything, like a new animal as it was a recently discovered island. We heard no screams that night, I just remember waking up and Salvius and the others had not returned. From that I vouched that all would be known and the woods would become safe. Yes, I loved him like I would a father, and so I decided to dedicate the rest of my life to making the same thing would never happen to anyway.

This leads me up to today. I went on like I did till just a week ago, on my 17th Birthday. At that point I was told it was time to move. I decided to go back to the place I returned to begin my new life. Asulon. I have been given necessities and am ready to set out on my quest. Become the great explorer, Mathus, Of Asulon. You know, this could be the last time I write? I should tell what I’m like if you’re finding this on my body. I’m a quiet, calm, and smart person, please if you are finding my body, don’t let my body just get eaten by an ugly Orc, please, serve me a good death.”

What is your Character's ambitions?: To become a great explorer, the greatest ever.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Bow

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? His ability to outsmart and trick.

Other Information about your Character: He learned how to use a bow from a hunter in the scholar group. He was found in the south.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Mathus would run and get the guards “Guards, guards there is an unfortunate halfling being harassed by warriors, simply taking advantage of him! Help or not, his pain will be in your head if he dies.”

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? “Hello fine fellow, how goes your day?, Now I was wondering first of all, would happen to have any basic defense weapons of sorts for sale? Also, have any explorers come through here?”

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: “ Ahhh yes, terriffic. But it must be a trap? I will flee. I’d rather live than risk my life through greed and get things I may not need.”

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? “Hello friend, I’m currently lost and starving. Would you happen to have any food for sale I am desperate but do not take advantage of me, as we can help each other if you keep fair prices. Also, I’m going to need to know of nearby kingdoms and settlements to regroup my exploration”.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: “ I will gladly help them. I cannot even continue on my journey without these men eliminated. I trust with such forces gathering we will win with few casualties. I will be paid well and very satisfied with helping here.”
