Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:

Short answer: Yes, I have.

Long answer: I started watching my dad play videogames when I was three(3) years old.

Because of that I started learning English from the videogame's speech lines.

When I was ten(10) I could speak basic English like:

"I'm fine, how are you?"

"My name is Dumitru Mihai." (And voila you got my IRL name :wink: )

And other basic things like the names of items etc.

And now I'm fourteen(14) and, I'm in a private school in the Advanced English class.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: My name is Mihai Dumitru, I live in Romania.

Uhh-....I have a pet gerbil, I love videogames and computer programmingc(I know some Java and C++)

and I like

to play Roleplaying games online and I would like to play them offline

too...like Dungeons and Dragons or Warhammer or World of Darkness. And like other kids that

play video games too much...I'm overweight. :oops:

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

On the weekdays I can spend a max of three(3) hours per day because of the homework

(And we get a lot because of the education system in Romania) and on the weekend

I think I can spend 5-6 hours per day?

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Uhh-...How's this definition?

Roleplaying is when people create a character(s) and choose it's actions based on the character's traits,

past and morals, it's also the term used to describe people that

are taking part in an improvisational theater

act, the way the act unfolds is based on what the players

decide for their characters to do. Also in other words:

You immerse yourself in another person created by you and decide it's actions based on events.

Uhh-...I hope I described it okay at least...

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I like to read guides on roleplay but

that isn't the same as experience, isn't it? I played on SA-MP's roleplay servers like LS:RP

(Also that's where I learned about this server) and that's it. I have 240 hours in LS:RP and

I have no experience with Minecraft RP But I'm willing to learn about Minecraft RP,

that's why I read guides about the server and other things.

(The members here seem to be very friendly)

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Using information that is OOC (Out-Of-Character) like the Forums and using it IC(In-Character).

Example: I read a guild's back story and now I know everything about it IC as well. (WRONG)

If a member of the guild didn't tell me the story in a RP way then I don't know it...

So I can't just go to some guy and say "*Insert guild back story here*" like I know all of it.

I can do that only if I learned it in a RP way (or In Character).

So using OOC information IC is Meta-Gaming.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

Using finished actions on a player thus not letting them react to it:

*Grabs Boromir by the hair and throws him on the ground, sending a kick to his belly as he falls*

Well, I'd like to see the Boromir react to that. :|

Now the correct way:

*Extends his arms towards Boromir's head, attempting to grab him by the hair*

Now Boromir can react:

*Ducks under [Ex-Power-Gamer's] hands and attempts to make a belly to belly suplex* (This if Boromir is strong and

agile or it would be wrong to do this if Boromir would be a dwarf or small and not powerfull enough)

Or he can react like this:

*Boromir gets grabbed by [*Name here*]*

The possibilities are endless but remember to play fair and not be a Mary Sue. (This was addressed at me)

What do you expect this server will be like?: Hmmm, should I ass-kiss and tell the truth

that this server seems to be the best Minecraft RP one, and has one of the most friendly communities? Nah, I should

shut up.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on a

Romanian Survival server a while back, and that's it.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I did. And yes, I do.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: I, Dumitru Mihai (Varsatorul) swear to try my best to respect and abide the server rules. And in case

No, I did not. This is my first application.

In-Character:

-I did the IC part in a diary page style...I hope you don't mind..pumpkin_eaters inspired me to try that thing..

if it's hard to read/understand I can post a new IC part or post a new application...

Now for the diary page part:

*While looking through a old and dusty chest you find this page:

*After reading it you notice the old blood stain and afterwards you put it back in the chest, still thinking about

the person who wrote it.

Also a quick summary:

My character lost his memory and wrote a page trying to remember everything he could about himself, now the page is found in a old chest by YOU (An imaginary you), but after he loses his sword he gets hit by a bludgeon and loses

his memory again...But he will remember sometime about his life and all that and go on a quest to find the sword.

Well, I think I added all that's needed...Yes, I know I'm not the best fantasy writer...I'll need to look at some guides for talking in a fantasy world, and I'll read the Wiki...Oh, the Wiki is soo awesome, I already looked a bit in it, but for the past 3-5 hours(At the time of writing) I've been making this application.

Wow. You have left me speechless. In all my time here an application team member, I have not once seen a biography put together with such poise and clever wit as you have. Your delivery is not only original, but effective and a grand change of pace from the applications we normally get.

Not to mention the OOC portion. Not only were you spot-on in every last aspect, but you showed a characteristic wit and certainly have proven yourself to have a magnificent voice to your writing.

You are certain to prosper in LotC, both in character and as a member of the community. I eagerly await seeing your escapades at work.
