ScreamingDingo 20568 Share Posted May 10, 2012 *Halinahr sighs loudly as he looks at the man talk.* "You have no right! Iblees' was banished in the Aegis battle, Them returning now and giving you a 'mark'?"\ *chuckles quietly as he continues to speak* "If that was so, You would of been hung from the Alrasian walls from your innards. Not having some lovely chat with a corpse-loving silver tongue. Iblees' is not back, only the foolishness of one with a weak mind!"
Cosmik 220 Share Posted May 10, 2012 "...You're standing in a public place... with the Eye of Iblees on your face... screaming warnings about the Undead. So think about this, overseer of knowledge - IF this man who attacked you spoke the truth, you're just being manipulated as a pawn and humiliated in the process. Or you're just mad, which I'm leaning towards. Either way this doesn't turn out very well for you at all."
ThanksChris 605 Author Share Posted May 10, 2012 "If that man spoke the truth, and due to the fact I'm sure your average night-kin zombie cannot hold an intelligent conversation, I'm near sure he did, then there is more to worry about than reputation for those who will listen. And once again, who are you to call me mad? When an entire nation knows otherwise? When all but drunkards and yourself accept that this may indeed be truth. This argument is beside the point at a time like this."
Blundermore 2741 Share Posted May 10, 2012 *Blundermore, keeping to the shadows instead of leaving for Amonfoul, can no longer watch as this poor man can be rediculed, garbed in brown hood and all, he makes his way once more into the fray of conversation.* "He may be right... I'm am unfortunate to say... for with common sense alone, could we see our own doom at hand. Tell me... what do you know of the old tales? The tales of Iblees and curses. Of the four and the Creator himself? Iblees so was cast into the void by that of the Creator himself... and yet... he returned. And cracked Aegis in two with but a wave of his bile covered hands. Though yes... the Axe of Krug was used in the Battle within the Nether... it only served to seal him once more into the void. From whence he came before. Can I ask? Do you still feel that sensation? Deep within your very beings? Humans... do you still feel that of short life? Dwarves... do you so feel the hunger of gold and diamonds? Elves... do your forests still remain silent and dead to the lack of off spring? Orcs... do you still feel the hate... the blood lust of war itself drive your very being? Your being... our being is our own downfall... his evil still lurks within us. Just as it did when the Creator himself drove him into the void first time. Iblees used us the first time to pull himself back into our world, and that was at the tarry of the might of the Creator himself. It begs the question then... that if the Creator could naught stop the return of the fallen one... why do we so think that a Descendant... below that of the Creator stands any chance to hold back that of Iblees? The answer is that it is not... we are but "up in the air". An interval to so speak of... and if this man so speaks true then the worse fear has finally come to light... that the return of the Arch enemy is neigh. Though perhaps, maybe it is not so... and if it is... then Soulcare taker be praised once more, for there is still time. If naught however... then we are but act three, from the first two." *Stands leaning apon his rugged walking staff as he looks at the crowd he just so spoke to... awaiting their reaction to the change of events*
Cosmik 220 Share Posted May 10, 2012 "And now you're calling me a fool for believing what you say. Mhmm. Okay." Ashur turns around and begins to walk off, coldly not turning back to the High Elf as he departs. "We can talk again when you can answer my points that you skipped over. Have fun." (( Gotta bounce anyway. That was fun, let's do it again sometime. ))
ThanksChris 605 Author Share Posted May 10, 2012 Turns back to the crowd "What a way to go, contradicting himself. I stated that he was to stubborn to believe, though yet he says I think him a fool for doing so. And he doesn't, regardless, and where will his fate lead him?" deathmetus 152 Share Posted May 10, 2012 *a man robed and cloaked moves amongst the crowd unnoticed and moving next to the alrasian he whispers as he passes.* "You have done well. . ." *A dagger suddenly appears in the young man's chest ((he doesn't have to die of course)), but the man is no longer near him. Instead a dark prescence falls over the crowd like a storm cloud covering the warm summer sun. The man suddenly whispers to Blundermore before departing.* "Good to see you alive, perhaps you may see God's plan this time Ascended. . ." *The man then disappears from view, however two hooded men are seen leaving the crowd, one towards the Elven Nation the other towards the Human.*
Blundermore 2741 Share Posted May 10, 2012 *A cold chill runs down his spine as what seemed to be a shadow pass him, a precence he knew all too well... turning, oblivous to the man that now lay smote in the crowd, he sees what seems to be a shadowed form of a hooded man dive into the darkness once more. He continued to look into the all encompassing vail of darkness, until finally the screams of the crowd brought him too once more. Turning back, he now sees what is a crowd huddling around the body of the scholar with the mark apon his face.* Edit: ((Urgh, this laptop is buggy at best when it comes to typing.)) ThanksChris 605 Author Share Posted May 10, 2012 Nemantius lies on the ground, shocked by what has befallen him "We... had a... deal. I'd... live... if I told... them." Nemantius begins to cough up more blood onto the ground, seeping into the stone of the Wilven Sanctuary. Not long after, his eyes close, though it is yet to be known if his heart still beats. Eleatic 1033 Share Posted May 10, 2012 Patah Reenters the temple and looks at the high elf "Sir... It seems this man is not a fraud, And the Undead are upon us once more. . . Let us pray the Aeriel will once again assist us in this time of despair." Patah walks away, humming soft prayers to Gzardiel and Aeriel. A note falls from his pocket, unbeknownst to him The note Reads "Aeriel the Mercifull, guide me in this age of pain, and bring light to the Undead's dark..." Below it you see many more such prayers, to many of the known Aengul's It is written in Quill and Ink, That you can see plainly, and the inking on the paper is recent, and prone to smudge,
Volutional 935 Share Posted May 10, 2012 Idriel merely watches from afar, her time is not now to confront those whom her ancestors had. She looks at the crowd, she has hold of both her sleeves with the hand they are baring. She may be fearful for what she is seeing, because if anything she wants to believe this. She wants to prove herself, but she also wants to avoid it, to avoid hassle and trouble. Idriel carries on watching, though stays upon the hills, watching close by.
