A Notice To Applicants~

Hello, applicants and fellow members of Lord of the Craft.

I am Aryon, a member of the Application Team, and a -moderately- respected member of the community. I have always strived to improve this server, and help it reach its peak. Now, I was on the application team before. Around 1 month ago? Anyway, I accepted / denied applications for over 3 months, and something I have read much too often is this; 'My character is the greatest warrior, who slays all Orc's.'

Now, I know how you may think this is creative. And after all, we cannot restrict your character. But what we -can- do, is ask you to think up a bit more of an original character. Now, we cannot actually prevent you from doing this. In-fact, I find it much more fun to play, say, a farmer, or a blacksmith. Think outside the box! Role-Play a engineer! A designer! An architect!

Now, all this aside; it is actually quite boring to read an applcation going 'This man was the greatest warrior the world had seen.' There is nothing new, nothing exciting. Now, I am not allowed to simply deny you for this reason. Though it -will- make me less inclined to accept you. And if you think I am being harsh; Try reading through all the warrior applications we get. It will drive you insane.

Now, I do not mean to insult anyone. I just want variety. C'mon, do you not agree it would be better with a world of peasants, farmers, and designers, instead of everyone being a master warrior? Think about it.
