Hogarth could only think of the grimy floor that he lies on as he sleeps inside of Mount Ire, homeless. Soon he awoke to the sound of rock being broken by picks and steel being hammered into shape as the sun began to rise on the surface. Hogarth rubs his head, groggy after a less then adequate night of sleep, but getting used to the uncomfortable rock beds that he now uses. He sits up, trying to clean off whatever grime that came upon his aged robe in his slumber.

Hogarth mutters to himself "Why must those bloodeh 'ouses cost 1,000?" as he slowly gets to his feet and walks zombie-like to the wooden board that shows the news of the Ironfist clan.

Upon arriving at the chipped and splinter filled board he observes the various notes pinned, notes from the far past and present, until he lays his eyes upon a newly pinned paper.

Hogarth scans the paper reading only the words that are important, but finds that most of them are, being quite interested in the paper. He starts to mumble to himself as he comes to the end of the note "Su that young lass 'as actually dun somethin gud 'ey? Well that gold is as gud as ours, 'er whutever'll be in there." Under the large note that Arbrek has pinned he spots a map pinned to the board, showing an outlined location which he suspects is the temple that Karvia has stumbled upon.

He begins to mutter to himself oncemore "Well seems that I got a temple tu gu tu, ain't like I got anything tu du 'ere, an' I wish tu get away frum these bastards." Hogarth then walks to the storage of Mount Ire, slowly traversing down the ladder that leads to his chest of valuables.

He then walks to his chest and opens it slowly, observing then taking his armor and weapon and equipping his Iron armor. He then tosses his Iron blade in his hands a couple times, preforming combat techniques that he learned during his time in the legion. Hogarth stomps out of the storage room, and slowly walks his way out of Mount Ire and into the wilderness keeping the location of the temple in his mind as he wonders the wilderness seeking the temple.

Since I am in Arbrek and Karvia's clan, he pinned a note on our clan board.))

"Riches eh?" Ariana didn't really have much need for more money, but this seemed like something quite interesting. "Well, before we talk about this more should we perhaps get off this road and into that inn perhaps?"

{-Two Days Later-}

"Oh, I wish I had a nice, young, Dwarven Lass!

To call my own, and share a mug or two!

She would not only 'ave quite teh a-"

"OI! YER MINAS OR YER LIFE!"

*Arbrek stopped his joyous singing and sighed. More bandits. Turning around slowly, he eyed his newest bandit friends. There were only three of them, Human, and seemed to be somewhere from forty to fifty years of age*

"Hrmph, children..."

*They were clad in mail armour, with the occasional piece of dented iron, and had an poorly forged Iron Sword apiece. Sighing, Arbrek removed the artifact from his back and gave it a few practice swings*

"I would suggest ye run, Manlings, unless ye want te die. Ye do nae start a fight with a Dwarf Lord armed like that.

*One of the Humans sneered, gesturing around*

"There's three of us in the prime of our life, and yer only one old Dwarf! Ye truly think ye can stop us?"

*Arbrek sighed heavily and looked around the forest. He had taken a ship to the Cloud Temple, and from there started to walk to the Goldhand Fortress. Currently, he was in a densely wooded area without a soul for miles around. Perfect. Without warning he sprang at the lead bandit, smashing his knee instantly, and laughed in amusement as he suddenly burst into flames. Spinning around to the next one, he smashed his chest cavity, pulping organs, and turning bones to dust. Suddenly though, he felt a sharp pain in his shoulderblade. Clutching at it, he smashed behind him without looking, and was met by a muffled "Umph" and a wet smashing sound. He slowly turned around and saw the last Human, his head caved in. Smiling again, he wrapped his arm using some cloth of the bandit leader's shirt, and began to march onward to the Goldhand Fortress*

Kernith addresses Ariana. Of course I do, but I am not busy I cannot travel. Indeed, many of mine duties take me far and wide 'cross the lands. He turns to look at the commotion. The man who had just... assaulted him was now speaking about a letter of some sort. Kernith was confused, but listened. When the word 'riches' was uttered, his eyes grew wide and he stopped moving. Swallowing hard, he asked Ariana to see it. As he scanned the lines of print, his heart began to beat faster. Why... this dost appear most interesting. Kernith forces a smile to his face. His voice raised a few notches, making him sound younger. But... how dost we know it doth not lie? Couldst this not be a hoax? Someone else holds out their hand to see it, and he reluctantly gives over the paper.

(EDIT Messed up parts of it)

Midori looks out across the new land she has come to. She is wearing the clothes of a huntress, green and brown, her shirt tightly fit around her bosom and her huntresses skirt/shorts at thigh length with a short-bow and quiver tied to her back. Her red hair flowing in the ocean breeze. Her bright pink eyes looking at the land from the boat that had carried her all the way from her homeland, a place she never wishes to return to.

Hoping to leave the bad memories behind on the boat, she wanders onto the road and walks down it a ways. She spots a sign that says "Cloud Temple this way" She follows the path and stands before the mighty Temple. Monks cross her path in and out of it, greeting her warmly. She is taken aback by the friendliness they show her. She stops one of them and asks: "Would you happen to know of an Inn I can stay in for the night?" The monk, smiling says to her: "Follow the path, to the Dwarven nation, You keep following it from there," he points, " and you should be able to find the Hapsi's Haven, you should find it suitable enough."

She thanks the man graciously, and follows the path he pointed out to her. When she arrives, she sees the crowd of people. She wonders what they could be doing. Moving closer, she hears a word that sparks her interest. Riches! She had come to Asulon not only to escape, but for adventure as well. She looks walks close enough to feel the heat of the group of people, none have actually noticed her yet but she just stands there, listening to their conversations.

Aeran shifts on his feet, thinking. Wouldn't that be something... Coming back to the fort, a bag of overflowing minas? But... How could he do this.. Just pop intobthe group? No... I'll wait, try to sell this rabbit to the innkeeper, then try to push my way into whatever and wherever all those minas are.. He examines the people in the crowd, his view staying on the females in his adolescent curiousity.

Scag walks calmly towards the inn

"the lass is right, we should discuss matters inside."

He walks to the door before turning around

"Well come on then!"

Scag then walks inside the inn and sits down at a corner table.

Morkas stretches out outside of his mine, tired after a long trip of pain staking mining. He sets out for his long walk back to his home, Kal'Dwain. He returns after the long, uneventful journey to his home, Kal'Dwain, with fists full of diamonds, iron, and gold. He trudges down the stairs to his home, a musty, tiny moss grown room that can barley be called a home. Morkas puts his items in his chests, and then heads outside to check the clan's message board. He notices that there was a recent message posted by Arebek, and decides to have a read.

Morkas's struggles through the message, as reading is not his strong suit, but he gets the general idea of the message. His eyes widen when he sees the words treasure, "why read on, eh? just give me the place to be! har har" Morkas reads on though, and notices that there is a map directing to a land unknown to him. "Hmm.... well, I could use ah good 'venture, and ah'v not been doin much 'ere besides moinin', ah'll certainly 'ead over to de place!"

Morkas then heads back down to his home, and gathers a few supplies. He grabs his trusty stone hammer, though glances at his brilliantly forged Diamond one, but decides against it. Along with his hammer, Morkas takes with him his old, dented iron armor, as well as a few bags of food. After finally gathering up all of his supplies, Morkas has decided that he is ready to go to this land of riches. He picks up his things, and walks out to the gates. having one final longing glance at his home, Morkas then turns around and heads off to the place Arebek told him he should go, "Ah certainly 'ope this place is werf it!" Morkas mutters to himself, "i 'ope dat dis treasure be one of the foinest ah'v ever seen!" Despite his doubts, Morkas turns around and continues on to the land of riches.

The forest was cold and silent..

Nothing else was there than a man wearing a chainmail armor. He had lost one of his eyes years ago but he had not covered the wound with an eyepatch since he had not one at the time and did not care enough to put one later. He is fairly young but to most he appears at least five years older. His small and slightly tended beard, along with the scar and the general complexion, all contributed to this appearance.

Amfionas was riding across the small path lost in his own thoughts.

He had promised he would help to her husband but his search seemed pointless.  The elven woman seemed long gone or already dead.

But he had to keep searching. He needed desperately the reward for her. He wanted better equipment and still had some debts. His little  skills in nothing else apart from warfare and hunting made it difficult to save money from scratch.

"I need some ale" he thought, deciding to forget his concerns.

Soon he arrived outside the almost empty inn and after taking care of his steed walked inside.

He lighted some candles with a flint and tinder and had a quick scan at the interior off the inn.

He quickly saw what he wanded behind the bar. Unfortunately as he reached to grab a bottle his candle lighted a small pile of paper on the counter on fire. Thankfully his quick acting putt out the burning letter and prevented the fire from spreading.

He started examining the half burned letter he was holding. The envelope had burned badly but  the content was almost intact. As soon as he read the word "riches" he opened the damaged envelope and started reading the entire message.

After some minutes of silent thinking the man cleaned up the small mess he had caused ,placing the other copies back in their original position and putting his slightly damaged copy in his bag-pack

He untied his horse and rushed to his home. Opening his chest he examined the various things he had collected in his travels and picked up everything that could prove useful. Food, a sword and a dagger and some flint and steel.

The Serjeant began walking towards the Temple after some rest and with only small trouble he came close to the place were the group had gathered.

At first he wanted to by pass them not sure if they were bandits and wanting to avoid trouble. But hearing the familiar words and seeing them pass a letter to each-other he had no other doubts about the subject and began closing the distance between them when they discussed about talking further into the inn, seeking to speak to the person holding the letter.

*Cursing and swearing, Arbrek stomps out of the water, glaring at the shattered remains of the tiny boat the Goldhands had sold him to make the trip up north quicker. After almost a full day's worth of swimming, he had seen the light of his daughter's camp fire. Piloting the tiny boat to shore, it had shattered on a small outcrop of stone, dumping Arbrek into the water. Squelching up the shore, he started calling out for his daughter*

"Karvia, my darling Daughter, where are ye? Yer old father 'as come te 'elp with teh work!"

ARRIVAL

dttCR.png

A large ravine impedes any direct travel.

Wheat surrounds the temple grounds.

Karvia's tent lies at the edge.

Inside the tent is a small table, a well-kept bed, and an unlocked chest.

Now I participate from a sort of DM perspective. Your character must now attempt, rather than just straight away succeeding. IE: Name pries out the gem. Name tries to pry out the gem. The outcome of your character's attempt is up to me.

Out-of character:

It's just Arbrek and Karvia that are at the temple, correct?
