Sultan 3953 Share Posted June 3, 2012 Truly, I wish we'd never moved. It was great at first, averaging 300 people at peak hours. Not so much at our average high of 150 to 180 people. I'm lucky if I find a city that has ten people in it at once...I miss the old days with the smell of RP in the morning (xD), walking up to Alk Khazar or Alras, and just knowing that you had a bustling city to thrive in. Perhaps when it's not four in the morning I'll have it in me to post something constructive... 300 What are you talking about the server slots in Agies were 100.. Danny 2232 Share Posted June 3, 2012 You just reminded me hosper. This be a continuation of my previous post, which is here: http://www.lordofthe...post__p__440658 With the Modding API joining us soon - we can actually have things like custom mobs, items and custom ores for races. Meaning:- The Orcs can actually make tribal totems etc. The Humans can actually have horses, and unique armours, tabbards, standards etc for their houses. We can have peasant clothes, we can have short swords, daggers, longswords. I don't think it's a good idea introducing things like that into Asulon, however introducing them into 3.0 with the new map would be a smart move. Nations would also be able to have their own custom building style, as humans could have specific brick types, where-as the orcs had their own carved rock theme, etc. With the modding API and a new map - we could make the Lord of the Craft a lot more unique, entertaining and epic. This however, is a different discussion - which there have been various threads about. When Mojang decide to release the API - then we can talk about that. 。◕‿‿◕。 Hawk Whitestorm 715 Share Posted June 3, 2012 300 What are you talking about the server slots in Agies were 100.. 200 near the end. But yea, we never hit 300 consistently. Only during massive events like the nether invasion and etc.
Mystery 118 Share Posted June 3, 2012 Alright, I say we wait until we have the launcher, the Api is out, and we have the map finished.
ΚΨΙΞ 710 Share Posted June 3, 2012 What would happen to the Kharajyr?
Hiebe 2493 Author Share Posted June 3, 2012 We are waiting anyways lads and lassies;) modding api would be God dammed great.
ΚΨΙΞ 710 Share Posted June 3, 2012 I'm just foaming at my mouth [i do not have rabies] at the fact of riding a horse as my human character, and yes I have always agreed with Hiebe's opinion on the fact of moving, Asulon it just kills RP. Aegis was beautiful and everyone was kept close together. Also the new map idea looks amazing, though what would happen with the Mori? Edit; I also like the fact the Dwarves and Orcs are closer together that means some more nation conflict.
LaCabra (Soda) 1519 Share Posted June 3, 2012 I believe that Menorcress is so holy and spiritual to the Mori that they would stay.
Danny 2232 Share Posted June 3, 2012 What would happen to the Kharajyr? Read my previous suggestions. The Kharajyr have an island on the map I suggested. I'm just foaming at my mouth [i do not have rabies] at the fact of riding a horse as my human character, and yes I have always agreed with Hiebe's opinion on the fact of moving, Asulon it just kills RP. Aegis was beautiful and everyone was kept close together. Also the new map idea looks amazing, though what would happen with the Mori? Hiebe 2493 Author Share Posted June 3, 2012 The kitty cats would have the island with the blood gyser. I always thought orcs and human would fight more ;)
Mingpow321 285 Share Posted June 3, 2012 I have a poll question, should we bring back a sort of common enemy like the Undead were? I've always thought that they brought the community together and they sure made for some interesting RP.
Fredfort (jens6851) 283 Share Posted June 3, 2012 IF this, ever happened (cause I generally like Asulon) I would simply LOVE and LIKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE one giant city. Like... Really. One giant city with everything. High buildings and a sea area and so on, with mountains around it. Maybe even huge sewers that was under the whole city. Where there could maybe be secrets or hidden guild houses and so on. Would be cool. :3 Having different distrects for dwarfs and elfs, etc. etc. Personally I think that would be something new and bring more centralized roleplay. Just to have this huge city in general everyone could live in.

PtahWithin 1320 Share Posted June 4, 2012 To clarify. This will happen, eventually?
no longer active 734 Share Posted June 4, 2012 Yes and no. We all know that we will need a new map in about 8-9 months just as we got Asulon. That being said this is just one members idea to collect as much feedback as possible so the next map is very good. This is not approved by the Admins. They could and might use it however.
