Out-Of-Character

Main Minecraft Account Name: Necrotic_Blade

Alternate Minecraft Account Name: Amaelith

In your own words, define what the act of Roleplaying is:

Roleplaying to me is taking a role of a different person than yourself and acting upon the influences, interactions with other characters and basically the environment according to that different person.

In your own Words, define what the act of Metagaming is:

An act of Meta-gaming would have to be using information, out of character influences and other out of character factors in character, such as using Minecraft IGN nameplates to find another player. Or a commonly used one, using information told in Team Speak but not in character whilst in character.

In your own Words, define what the act of Powergaming is:

An act of Power-gaming would have to be role-playing your character with abilities, traits and perhaps skills that he hadn't obtained in a RP manor. For example your character is instantaneously the best blacksmith in all of Asulon and can smelt gold and iron without fault or being a master swordsman with no training what so ever. Also power-gaming would also be forcing other characters into situations, like *Manlril punches the stabs the guard in the throat with his quick blade thus slaughtering him.*

Seems legit.

Character Name: Vaelrith

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): N/A

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Vaelrith a profound child at birth. He didn't resemble his mother nor his father but as he grew that changed. Vaelrith grew in the wilderness with his parents because they were to poor to afford a city home and it was easy to grow crops in the wilds because their produce wasn't taxed heavily. During Vaelrith's child years Vaelrith worked in the fields tending to the crops and protecting them from any intruders. Overtime Vaelrith became more and more skilled at farming but the seed supply began to dwindle. Eventually the supply reached zero and Vaelrith ran to the nearest town which was Normandor in search of spare seeds. Vaelrith's young mind was fascinated by the Elder tree that he had an overwhelming feeling of belonging. Vaelrith didn't fancy tending the field everyday, Vaelrith wanted a simple life in a city where he could converse with others. The fear of being robbed or murdered easily in the wilds frightened Vaelrith and he didn't want to return but he also didn't want to abandon his mother and father. The decision was rather difficult for Vaelrith to make but he believe he chosen the right one.

Finding a home in Normandor was not easy, and the elves were kind of intimidating. Vaelrith was a sun baked, browned haired and blue eyed human searching for a job in an Elven city. But through and through, Vaelrith managed to get a job in Normandor harvesting various crops. Vaelrith felt that his mother and father didn't really need him he was just another mouth to feed. The oppressive city work make Vaelrith lust for attention outside of work. So Vaelrith began to visit the Root Beer continuously even though he wasn't old enough to drink he still like conversing with the Elven adults and hearing stories about Asulon and an unfamiliar world called Aegis. Being around the elves and hearing the stories made Vaelrith want to go out into the world of Asulon and explore but he was bound to the field like he was his earlier years.

Vaelrith began to accumulate minas overtime; he had been saving up for a trip he's been longing for. He just wanted to discover himself but the world was not kind to him. The farmer wages were rather low and Vaelrith rarely had money to save up for the trip. Through struggles to become financially stable Vaelrith joined the Malinor Guard to ease some pressure. Perhaps with this new job Vaelrith could explore Asulon after all...
