In your own words, define what the act of Roleplaying is:

Role playing is like acting out a character that you create it allows you to explore your imagination and truly create a unique character that you may fully act or play as no matter it, be a lowly farmer working in his farms to a noble knight protecting his king it's anything your imagination can create.

In your own Words, define what the act of Metagaming is:

Meta-Gaming is where you use something ooc to better benefit you ic character such as you walk up to a fully armored warrior and you say hello Knight john, I’m clay how is your day going. There is no way you could tell who that was in that armor so you are using ooc information in a role playing moment.

In your own Words, define what the act of Powergaming is:

Power-Gaming is where you jump to conclusions without allowing the other players to respond to you. Here is an example of power gaming Lark attempts to send a kick towards john’s head. John moves quickly out of the way and sends a punch to Larks head. Lark takes the punch and moves quickly to the left and send a kick to john’s head then knocks him to the floor with a punch in the stomach and quickly finishes john off with a cut to the throat. In this role play moment Lark gave John no time to react and that is power gaming.

Clay was born a proud Dwarf; he never strayed from the path of loyalty. When he was young he would often watch the warriors train in the base. He would often think of how he wants to become a grand warrior like them but his paths brought him elsewhere when he got to the age of 70, he took a job as a miner due to the family needed ores. He loved mining it was a dream come true, his father was a miner to and the often mined together singing and cheering when they found gold. His father was also a proud Dwarf but had a past he would never speak of and when Clay turned one hundred his father rewarded him with his goggles he wore when they went mining .It was the last mining trip of the year and Clay and his father were on the late shift and as they descended upon the mine floor, Clay got a weird feeling that something was wrong but Clay is not superstitious and did not let it bother him. He thought “I have a job to do; I can’t let my thoughts be clouded.” His father was first to get off the cage that lifted them down, Clay father was the torcher, he had to go ahead of the group and place torches for the miners witch is a very deadly job.

Clay never worried about his father; he was a strong man and could defend himself. Clay was mining by himself and strayed a bit from the group hoping to get a bit of gold off the path but as he was mining he heard a loud yelp and hurried to see who sent the cry for help but only now does, he realize why they tell you never to stray from the path it took him, a long while to get to where the yelp came from and when he got there, he was horror stricken. There laid his dead father, who had died by a spider all because he did not have his own father back. After that day Clay was sent into depression harder than he had ever been but one day the lord of his family came to him and said “weeping over the dead solves nothing but self-pity, but standing and learning to fight the foes that cause it changes the man within.” After that Clay sat and thought of what his lord had told him he thought of it for day as it ran through his mind then he came up with one goal to fulfill.

He would avenge his father by training in the arts of power and learning all there is to know about self-defense and killing, he would soon develop skill that would help him greatly in his adventures ahead. Clay went to his lord and spoke “I have thought over the wise words you told me and I wish to become a weapons master and serve in your grand military.” The family head smiled and said “I knew one day you would come to your senses, welcome to the military young one.” Clay began his training in the art of swords, he went to the swords master in the city and pleaded with him to take him as his apprentice, the sword master saw the pure dedication in Clay eyes and accepted but spoke one sentence that Clay would never forget “The sword is not a weapon of vengeance, but a weapon of bravery and power.” Clay training lasted for six long years and made him a very hard dwarf. He know knew the way of the sword but his goal was not even close to being completed, he went to a small hut in the wilds where an ogre, who was said to be a master of axes. As Clay approached the hut the Orc Spoke “Who dares enter my land without my permission.” Clay then thought for a few minutes before responding with “A Young dwarf, who wishes to learn the way of the axes. The Orc slowly exited his hut and sat on a log a few feet always from a fire, he spoke again “Please sit in front of me boy.” Clay slowly and carefully sat down in front of the Orc. The Orc stared into his eyes and said “I see passion and sadness in your eyes boy do you truly want to become a master of axes. Clay spoke carefully “I have a goal I must complete, if you accept me as your student, I will never sway from my goals.” The Orc looked into Clay’s eyes and it showed no signs of being untruthful, The Orc respected that.

The Orc then spoke “I will take you as my student boy but always remember the axe is a tool of speed and reflexes without those you are nothing.” Clay trained with the Orc for 10 years and learned many things from his master, he even thought of the Orc as his second father at time. Then on one night the Orc spoke “I have taught you all I know boy you must go out into the world and learn the rest of the weaponry’s out in the world.” Clay knew that this day would come and he said “Thank you for everything you taught me, I will return a weapon master the next time I see you, I swear it” and Clay set off to the Port but as he was leaving, he heard the Orc say “Goodbye my son.”

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

As I was traveling from the Cloud Temple, he noted two men. One seemed to be holding a small Halfling up in the air and was telling him to hand over all of his minas. I being a man of honor step in front of the bandit thinking “I have the ability to help this Halfling”. I then said “Release the man now.” The bandit holding up the Halfling said “what are you a guard pet leave now or there will be trouble. I pulled out my blade and said “I am no pet, I am honorable unlike you”. I thought to myself “These men are only use to people giving in; the only combat they have seen is fighting off despite farmers.” I looked at these two men, they had no armor and one did not even have the proper swordsmen stance. I started on the closest man I sent my blade towards his chest, the man holding the Halfling up, dropped him and quickly hit behind his friend and investigated his wounds. The second many was more trained, he blocked every slash I sent his way. He came at me to quick and grazed my shoulder, I moved to the right as he did that and hit him right in the side. He fell to the ground and gowned, he friend shaking said “Okay, stop we surrender, have mercy!” I then said “There is no mercy in this world, but if you swear to stop these villainous acts then I will allow you to leave. The man said “fine I’ll stop.” He then helped his friend stand and hobbled always slowly. The Halfling turned to me “why would you help me, I am a Halfling a disgrace some call use.” I spoke slowly “Those who judge people because of their appearances are often jealous greedy people, do not think of yourself as that your race is a proud people. Soon after that I left happily know I had made a new friend today.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well-dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

As I was walking into Alras, I noted the mass of wares hanging in a shop. As I opened the door to the shop as small bell went off, it was tied to the top of the door and for some reason I felt drawn to it, but as I was standing there a sort grunt came from the front of the shop from a large man with pointy ear. “Hello” I said a little startled with what I was seeing, I knew there were other races than dwarfs and orcs but this man was so tall and had no signs of ageing once so ever. He smiled and said “Ello there, what can I do for you today, I do not bite do not worry.” I looked around his shop it was covered in plants and sweets all over it was well organized in sections but It was nothing a warrior like me would want but then my eye caught once again it was old and had odd symbols in carved into it. I pointed to the bell and said “I would like to buy the bell you have on your door.” The man laughed and said “This is a first but that bell is very important it is an old family air loom of a good friend of mine.” I knew I wanted that bell I asked “Where is he at I would love to buy it from him.” The man looked different so what sad he then said “His name was Travis Windstock and I’ve been told lately that he died a terrible death. I was taken back this man knew my father, I knew he use to travel as a warrior but I didn’t think I ever meet someone who meet him before, He would never tell me about his past life. I said slowly “I am his son Clay, and you knew my dad please tell me of what he used to be.” The man stud silently and spoke “Your father was a proud man and a grand warrior, he fought in battle with great foes even some, well let’s say that were not even living beings.” He shifted lightly “He also saved my family from certain death and for that I owe him everything, I will never forget that deed he did for me a lowly elf that spoke badly of him at first.” I did not understand my father was always so nice I couldn’t see him kill anyone, but he did always go on long vacations at time, Oh god I thought , he said he was going to trade but he wasn’t, why wouldn’t he tell me. I then said “I can’t believe this he kept me in the dark for so long I could have helped him but why?” The man spoke “Listen boy your father was only looking out for you, do not blame him but take the bell as you wish it’s free.” I knew my father; he wouldn’t lie to me, without good reason for it. I reach out to the bell and ripped it free from the small string that held it to the door. I looked deeply at the bell it was my fathers and now it is mine, I will never lose this bell. The man spoke “Now that you know of your father what will you do?” I thought and then said “I will go out into the world just like him and find my true self.” The man smiled and said “good luck on your path young dwarf may it be grand.”

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

As I was wandering around the wilds lost I noted a small hut ahead of me it looked abandoned so I started on it, I thought to myself “shelter at last.” As I got closer to the hut a lough boom of thunder sounded across the sky fearing the upcoming rain, I ran into the hut it looked small from the outside but, it was quite nice on the inside, a small furnace and stove rested on the left side and a bed and a chest on the right. I started to investigate the hut looking for any signs of food. As I looked I found a small ration of food near the stove it was very old and molded over, I decided that it was best just to eat what little food I had left in my pack. As the rain grew harder I often came bored and let curiosity get the best of me so I slowly moved over to the chest, I wasn’t one to look into people things but this hut looks like it been abandoned for some time. There wasn’t any form of lock on the chest so I simply unlatched the chest and popped it open. Inside the chest laid a finely carved golden sword, it looked as if it was a knight’s blade. I also found some hard iron bars also it seems like quite a lot of loot for someone who lived in a hut. As I sat in the hut listen to the rain fall pondering why a hut would have such loot it came to me “It must be a knight’s training hut.” I have heard stories that knights of the kingdom went training out in the wilds but I often thought that was a story why would they if they could just do it at the kingdom. I waited for the rain to stop be for I departed but as I was leaving I thought of taking the loot that was in the chest, I mean knights are so rich they would miss it but that wasn’t really me I wasn’t a thief my family would not approve of such actions. If I took the loot it would be a waste of all the thing my teacher taught me I can provide for myself not take it from people, that’s what lowly thief’s do and I damn well wasn’t a thief.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

I have traveled to far in one of my wilderness trips and had got myself lost as I stumbled around the forest fighting hunger, I stumbled upon a trading camp with a few villagers in it. I seemed to have gained some attention as I noticed two armed men coming near me with an older man behind him. I then said “I mean no harm I am a lost and hungry traveler, do not hurt me. “The men looked confused at what I said and then spoke in some odd language, they both looked to the older man behind him and he also spoke in that odd language but he looked like he could kind of understand what I was trying to say. I looked him in the eyes and pulled out a piece of paper and used object to make a picture of a map that anyone could understand it was a drawing of mountain valleys with a red line going through them and I then responded “I need of map of here and then pointed to the ground. The Old man seemed to understand he showed it by nodding his head then; he turned his head to the man next to him and told him something in the odd language they spoke. After whatever to old man said the other two men quickly headed into the tent and when they returned one had a map and the other a piece of bread. Lark thought to himself “Oh thank god food. “The old man handed him the bread and he ate it in near seconds even the warriors were impressed by that, lastly he handed him the map and nodded. I did the only thing I could thank of and bowed to the nice kind old man. I then left the village to return to his home but was happy he had man some new friends today.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offers their support. How does your character act on this information?:

I was sitting in my chair working on a craft on my desk in my small humble hut it was just off the road to a large kingdom in a town, I didn’t really have much relations with them beyond their tax collector, but the people of the town seemed quite nice they were very hard workers always out in the fields or in the dark mines get everything they could to help there kingdom and it was somewhat of a family, something I held very close to my heart also, so I respected it very much, but as I was day dreaming about the land that I live in I heard loud shouts near my hut. As the shouting got closer to my hut I could hear the chainmail of warriors, but these men were not the kingdom's knights they were men of the town guard, a small force of people, who are miners and farmers as a day job and a town guard at night, I see it more of a social group but as they round the path next to my door two strayed from the group and head towards my hut not wanting to be seen, I quickly ducked out of the window and waiting in the darkness of my home, I could hear the Guard's footsteps as they got closer to my home, then a loud knock echoed in my hut and a deep voice spoke. “It’s the town guard captain open the door Clay!” I really did not feel like talking to them but It wasn’t the type of person the leave them at the door. I walked slowly and open the door just enough to let my head stick out; I was really hoping they were not here for the taxes I have been avoiding for so long. The guard captain interrupted my thoughts by saying “There are bandits attacking people on the outer roads of are town, we do not have enough men to fight such a force will you join use in stopping them?”

At first I formed a small grin on my face thinking of a smart ass comment I could make but I shrugged it off this was a matter that needed attending to, I then said “Yes lend me a blade and I will fight with you.” The captain looked different as he said “I didn’t expect you to fight we are just asking for materials do you have training?” I looked into his eyes and said “You do not know my past now hand me a blade and I will fight.” I thought to myself, I wasn’t doing this for this kingdom that I lived in I was doing it for the family around me who so dearly enjoy there peaceful bliss life and I wasn’t allowing some dead beat lowly scum to ruin it. I Followed the ground of warriors to the path that the bandits were controlling there was about ten of use in the front group two scouts and reinforcements of about five very slow fat farmers, but on the bandits side there was about fifteen in all, most looked like teenagers looking to be rebel s but about eight to ten of them were grown men with experience in fighting. I notice as then men in the group started to head near use swords drawn they were not playing games they would kill you without a second thought, I griped the blade I have been given and took my stance guarding the right flank of the group, The bandits rushed use thinking lowly of the strength that a desperate man can possess when threatened. The lowly city guards have trained for this moment all their lives. They worked in teams of two quickly taking down the front group.

As we fought these bandits my thoughts on these people started to change they were not strong knight but they sure as hell fought like them, they were not fighting for money, lust or greed. They were fighting for there family and their town, and that makes the weakest man a brave warrior.I grew to respect the people I once thought so lowly of they were guards for a social thing they were farmer's who cared about protecting their town and their family, If my master was here he would beat me senseless for not realizing sooner. The bandits were very shocked by the attacking force they were used to fighting defenseless merchants and travelers most city's do not send guards but this was different they have messed with one to many of the townspeople and hurting defenseless people did not sit well with the guards. The bandits started to retreat ever so slowly grabbing what ever they greedy hands could get to as they went. The remaining bandits quickly headed over the hill after they got what little loot they could and the guards cheered with victory cry's. After making sure the bandits were long gone the guard captain spoke "We won men now to the pubs." Many smiles laid on the guards faces as they yelled "aye aye Captain" and headed off towards to pubs. As I was heading back to my little hut, the captain ran towards me "Good job out there and thanks for the help if your ever looking for a job contact me" he said. I sighed and said "Tough work that you do but thanks for the offer I'll think about it." after that I slowly made it back to my hut. Once I got to my hut I slipped into my bed and laid there looking up at my roof and then it hit me "Damn I forgot to get my reward" but I was to tired to care and fell right asleep thinking that I could get used to living in this town near the kingdom.
