Cracker 4570 Share Posted June 25, 2012 Just going to leave this here but as of recently, ICly I have not seen much honor coming from dwarves. It's been mainly about hoarding, forging one's own lands, pissing and insulting other races that makes no sense, being war-mongerering, and breaking "honor" through actions like bringing factions and mercenaries into battles which were designed to stick to two races. They've been acting much more "greedy", and while this is definitely a dwarven trait, it needs to be combined with honor to flesh out the race. It's hard to combine these two traits though, and honestly on some level it isn't even needed. It's two traits which are very hard to combine, thus its up to the dwarves as a race to figure which combination would work well. And when promises and honor don't apply to other races, well, then the race doesn't become much more honorable, because that's where REAL honor surfaces, holding resolves and pacts with foreigners and strangers. But promises that solely apply to dwarves is a brand of honor which blends well with greed.
