A Dragon Descends

As the sun shune bright above Skravia the towns people walked calmly through the streets. Barry stood below the church smiling at the view, talking with his wife and friends. The air went cold, clouds formed in the sky. They turn to see a figure fly past the clouds, horror and fear run through their minds.

Barry draws his blade and yells to the dragon "Come here, you flying obimination!" he sprints to the church and begins to climb the ladder "Sir...what should i do..." mattias speaks "Barry leans back "Break the ladder..." he says shakely, mattias nods and rips the ladder down as Barry stands above the church. The dragon flies above waiting for the right time to land, Barry grips his blade tighter "Come down and fight me on the land... not the SKY!!" he yells gripping his blade ever so tighter.

The dragon lands on the church ripping chunks of the roof off with it, Barry steps back shaking almost losing his footing. He lunges forwards and slashes at the dragons wing but misses and stumbles, the dragon swings around hitting Barry with its tail knocking him to the side making him drop his sword off the roof. "Aergh! NO!" he screams flipping over, he quikcly searches his robes and pulls out a throwing knife and throws it towards the dragon, the dragon roars in pain as it enters its eye. He stands up and searches himself for a weapon "No....i.." he looks up at the dragon as it screatches and breaths fire all over him "AERGGHHH!" he screams in pain.

The dragon flies away roaring, the towns people search for Barry thinking his body could have fallen into the church, all that was amongst the rubble was his staff and his pendent. Some think he was burnt to ashes, others think he got away.

Jake wheezes as he feels a pain in his lower back and a picture of barry shoots trough his head like a bullet flying trough a piece of jello. Jake slowly rolls over to the other side of the bed while not trying to make his bones hurt too much as he tends to his wounds in the vault of Former High King Syrio in Kal Alras, moves his hand over his back and feels the broken spine and the deeps cutts, and thinks to himself "Great...." slowly lays back down on the bed while moaning a little and lets out a large gasp for air as he closes his eyes again. Gorum walks down and sees Jake laying on the bed rolling around and sighs slowly as he thinks of the family he once held so dear.
