Winter looks over the announcement once more, wanting to let the news out but with her Knighting so close, she can't afford to allow her condition to be seen quite yet. With a soft clasp on the shoulder and a tender kiss on the cheek, Uthor takes the letter and slides it back into the desk. This knowledge was killing her, and she was so eager to tell of the life growing within her. But, refrain she will, for the sake of her position in the Order.

Anyways, Uthor and I have decided it's time for our characters to have a child (That we didn't adopt) and we're looking for someone to play our child. Now we do have a few conditions, we're very picky and realistic :P.

First, we'd prefer to have a player who can play the character at all times, and one who has an American Timezone. Second, we're going to name the character; I don't like babies who come out saying what their name is going to be, and their names will be Aiden (Boy) or April (Girl).

Third, we want the full growing up experience; your character will age based on the calender, AND NO MAGICAL POTIONS PULLED OUT OF YOUR ARSE :l, my last child did this and I was astounded to be marrying off someone who couldn't pronounce her R's the day before, and who had 3 children herself the next day (all of them were bastards but still). Finally, we want your character to look like us, and you don't have an excuse, I make skins and I'll make yours unless you can make your own.

A little information about us as parents. We're both Oren Nobility, I am a Wood Elf, and Uthor is a Human(Elf-blooded). We both have blue eyes, I have crimson red hair, and he has light brunette. Winter is 5'4" and Uthor is 6'11", both of us are reasonably well built and muscled. Uthor has a semi-dark skin and Winter is extremely pale like her name sake.

Also as a reasonable buffer, if either of us knows you have a history of trolling firsthand, you will be automatically declined, we want as serious a roleplayer as we are.

The Child is also due 8/6/12, so if we have no one by then, we'll be falling back on our original, so... LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!

Hello, I believe I've something to offer in this situation, if I'm given the liberty of explaining myself. I have been interested for some time now in playing the role of a child, and doing so in a believable manner. I find it is often an unappreciated and difficult role, and one of the few I've not yet taken part in. I find your take on the matter particularly interesting, as it involves a character being played from infancy, having the entirety of it's life played.

It is worth mention that I've yet to get on the server once, as I'm entirely new to the community, having only just registered in the forums. I have read the lore for both humans and elves, and the surface lore for The Holy Oren Empire, not delving into it's history, as it was not my intention to play a character who would have such knowledge in any case. I am by no means unfamiliar to rp, and it is one of my most enjoyed past times. I'm often told my rp is enjoyable and believable, and I thoroughly delight in realistic and sound minded play. I do live in the EST American timezone, so this is also to our plausible advantage.

As for the child itself, I was happy to see you've a name for your own offspring, and agree with your reasons. As for the gender, I would prefer to play a boy, if only because the male name suits me better, but I am quite willing to decide it based on the real-world 50/50 likelihood, and flip a coin to decide the gender. On the matter of my not having created a whitelisted character for this server yet, where some would see a hinderance, I see an opportunity. A child is a blank slate, knowing nothing about the world around it. While I know geography and general outlook of the races and their capital cities, I am otherwise entirely ignorant. I detest metagaming, and take great strides to avoid the offense whatever the case. My point being that in addition to my care not to breach the fourth wall, my not having been exposed to the places and people of LoTC will, in my opinion, provide an auxiliary standpoint to the whole role, helping me further get into character, and play a believable infant, toddler, child, and hopefully in due time adult. ^_^

Whatever your decision, I salute your attempts at going about it well, and hope the best for you. Hah. I took too long. I was going to post a similar idea on here, but I wanted to take more time to get to know both of the "parent" characters. Pity. I'll be a back up if something happens, though I was gonna post pretty much the same thing as above. EST, rather be a boy, but really willing to be either, and I actually wanted to play a child character because I prefer going through a whole characters life, not speeding up to them being older. Helps you to really understand a character, and make a realistic one. It's okay though, AiRift beat me to it.

I would like to Role play this part as I do enjoy roleplaying with Uthor, and also I find roleplaying a child a challenging, and a fun endevour to rolepaly from birth to death. I would also like to say that my current character is a 'bastard' in the Silverblade house, having been adopted by Althos, so I am fairly sure of the in's and out's of the Silverblade family. I hope that Uthor will vouche for my RP skills. The only issue is that my timezone is GMT, however when I am online, most of the time so is Uthor, so we'll see.

(( I'd like to thank everyone for their (late) responses and after some thought, I've selected Hiebe and AIRift. So, as this is likely the only offspring Winter will have with Uthor, we've decided on an Elven miracle of twins. Now we've yet to select the genders of both children and me and Uthor will be holding ourselves up in the DM's room while we roll everything out * clicking dice *. I'll not be Rping tonight seeing as I have tons of homework and tons of skinning to do, I'll talk to you all on Thursday after my Final, and I'll let Uthor handle my character and her maternal munchies over the next week ( don't let her get the babies! ).

Everyone remember, this isn't what I think about you guys as RPers, I've seen all of you and you are -awesome-! I picked based on need of a character and I want you all to know I love joo all!
