I was wrong for starting it, and I thank you all for helping me defend our beloved city, but it was a mistake. We will handle this RPly. Urasept 1361 Share Posted August 13, 2012 Alright only going to say this once, stop the ooc bickering. This is meant to be an IC issue, will be handled as an IC issue. When in doubt send envoy's, diplomats, or whatever you wish to call them. Just because a warclaim is placed down does not mean the end of the world. It opens up a whole new set of RP situations and possibilities. Explore them instead of breaking into a rage. Can't the empire just go in there with its knights/guards at any time? I would think the terrorists would need one to secede or launch any sort of meaningful attacks. Assuming there is any. Reason I ask this is, is we had a similar situation with Malinor a while back. We had some criminals holed up and I had my Sentinels round the whole bunch up in one swoop. ((Warclaim was more of a safety net to account for any loopholes one might find to claim that Oren troops can't go there without possibly violating the 5 person raid rule. It was awhile back so I don't remember all of it but you certainly didn't mention anything about summoning them, you only said the location needs to be found. As well I think I can defend my own kingdom accordingly with something as low as rebels who I've had reports threatening my walls. Correct me if I'm wrong of course. I believed you gave me the go ahead once you said find out the location and we attack. ((2 weeks ago, while I was on holiday my town was taken along with all of my items and I was given no warning, my character now has NOTHING, and I cannot even RP my character because of it, he has no armour, food or weapons, in there was all of the items I had accumalated throughout my 8 months on LotC. It wouldn't make sense to have a home with criminals in it and only be allowed to send in 5 guards without a warclaim.)) However if its part of a nation, then I believe its a case of miscommunication between you and your feudal lord (someone would be above you, either a count, duke, king, or emperor if in Oren). In Malinor I take homes all the time from inactive players. I'd rather have active players in my homes rather than inactive ones. It is up to the individual to send me a message before they go on vacation. Most send a PM or leave a sign. Sorry for bringing the discussion off track, just trying to get more information on whats going on. I really hope one doesn't need a warclaim to get people out of an area in a town we own. I don't mean come through Khabbi and knock their houses down searching for Osama Bin Laden; unfortunately Benazir Bhutto said that OBL was killed before Obama supposedly did it :3 Anyways, back to the topic at hand. I want screenshots of the investigation upon rumors, then if roleplay points the Oren Knights towards an aggressive policy towards the Khabbi; this is accepted.
