I was curious; what exactly happened to the Dark Elf Settlement? I went there to find a man known as "Aluadas Prince Loganos" to talk with him, and to my surprise found that the area in which the settlement was in was replaced by sand and cacti!

Does anyone know what happened to it?

Indeed. The settlement that was on the road to Kal'Urugan, on the other side of the forest from Serpent's Ridge.

I just scouted it out. That is indeed bizarre; it was there but yesterday.

Perhaps the Prince has plans for Serpent Ridge to extend that far in that direction?

Possibly. I've been trying to get in contact with Loganos, who is found in (what used to be) that settlement. Perhaps it has been moved to a different location?

Yes, but that still does not explain the sudden appearance of sand and cactus in the middle of the redwood forest.

Maybe High Prince Native (or any other Prince or Princess, for that matter) can elaborate on this mystery?

I walked by the site again and saw around three people there looking around, but I was on some important business and could not stop to talk.

Perhaps the Orcs had a hand in it. I believe they favor the desert and its foliage.

I visited the site earlier today and discovered that, although the settlement has disappeared the land is forested, no sand of cactus.

Later on, after exploring Serpents Ridge, I decided to venture out into the wilds around the town. To my astonishment I discovered (purely by accident) the new location of the dark elf settlement! It is in the exact same lay out too. This leads me to believe that the settlement was not destroyed but merely move, possibly by very strong magic!

I was just about to report this to you all, I found it when hunting with a friend. How odd.

Perhaps the sand and cacti are a side-effect of strong magic? Perhaps it saps the moisture from the land.

It must have taken quite a powerful individual to move an entire city! It must have been the Wandering Wizard!

Anyways, I'll have to go find it for myself. I'm glad that you figured out what happened!
