Then it is your own fault, move to a major city, or go to spawn, It is really simple.

That is the kind of attitude which makes me want to quit LotC. I personally live in Kal'Dwain but I know of settlements which have plentiful RP but are in the middle of no-where. Once again an update whic only favors older players.

Kal'Dwain is the capital of the Irongut hold. It will likely have a bank.

Give an example of one of these. Most settlements have a fast travel to their nation's capital, and if they don't, it isn't too difficult for them to get one if they ask.

I have a feeling that I'm going to hate this update.

Why again are we forced to go to capital cities instead of just storing money into our chests at home?

You can put emeralds ad bank notes into your own chests no?

Yes but placing 100 'coins' into a chest takes up the same amount of room as 64 blocks of stone >.> The notes make this less of a burden, but that involves returning to the Sanctuary to have them transformed. Also found my first exploit.

Also bipolar this update doesnt cater to older players. It caters to anyone living in Normandor and Arethor. Some nations don't have capital cities.

Well, having to return to the big cities for banking seems logical to me since that was were the banks were in the middle ages, and it makes people move a bit.

It won't hurt to go once every week to the banks just for half an hour I think.

This patch is very nice.

It makes indeed alot of new roleplay possibilitys like Taxes(they put mina nots in chest) Banks and alot more.

+1 from me Vaq :)

Vaq I think you did a great job but I still got a question:

With the stealth skill you have a change of pickpocketing mobs to get extra minas; like you could get 4 minas from a zombie but an additional 14 due to pickpocketing, will that still be implented?

And to everyone else about the bugs I'm sure they will be fixed soon enough.

EDIT: Its indeed buggy with minas had 560 now 143. NOt much a problem for me but I could imagine a bigger problem for others, and Silk got a good point.

The map's not a texture, it's a map which Vaq's modded so that the 'terrain' it shows is the mina note image.

Watch the video. You do store your money in your chests at home, the banks are for converting between notes and emeralds.

And you can combine notes simply by stacking them. They'll combine into a single note.

Some nations don't have capital cities.

This doesn't mean they won't have a bank.

MAJOR CITY. Not capital. For the dwarves, this'll likely be both Anart and Dwain.

So which is the actual currency that we give to other people, Emeralds or minas notes?

EDIT: Damn, I lost all my money. At least I didn't have much in the first place.

It really dosnt matter because emeralds can be turned into mina notes…and mina notes cane be turned into emeralds

Still squashing bugs guys; the reason I couldn't 'bugtest' this before hand was that these bugs didn't exist on my dev server, they only come about as a result of extreme pressure on the code.

Once everything is stable, we'll resolve lost minas.
