So which is the actual currency that we give to other people, Emeralds or minas notes?

EDIT: Damn, I lost all my money. At least I didn't have much in the first place.

Either. I imagine notes would be used for large transactions.

Ohh, that kinda give me a idea for the VA Cheating, could that go into scamming sorta. Like drop a note saying its 300 and have your character run off with the item when they realize its like 1 mina note?

Would that be aloud?

^Probably people would want the note first though.

Question:

Ender chests are not really banks at all with a deposit? Only instant transactions? As in, it would be useless as a thief to try and rob it?

I'm so happy. Before I use to let it rain on people with diamonds, but now I can actually make it rain Mina and it won't cost as much!

Vaq, You are a god among men. I love it.

This beats the hell out of "Oh no, you died! You have lost 32.0000000000000000000000000002 minas because you died!"

Great work Vaq. I can't see how some people think this could be worse than carrying all your money with you everywhere and it magically staying with you but losing exactly 35% whenever you die.

This is great! Now money is actually being RP-ed in the inventory... A wonderful idea that I hadn't even thought of :)

I approve

Not a fan. Uses up to much inventory, the spam of 'You can not do this with minas' is irritating beyond measure, having to travel half-way across the world to use a bank is stupid, its overly irritating to transfer a large amount of cash, if we die while carrying our savings it is ALL gone, finding an autoshop plugin is going to be an absolute ***** now and those who can not afford large homes and live farm from the temple just got served an uppercut to the chin by Vaq.

Bring back iConomy.

As it says in the livestream recording in the first post, all the major cities will have banks, but as the update's just come out, they've yet to build them.

And what happens when you don't live near a major city either? This system is completely unneeded, iConomy was fine.

If you don't live near a major city, then you don't live near the banks that want emeralds. Most towns have fast travels to their nation's capital anyway. If you live the the wilds, then you aren't going to have anywhere to spend minas anyway.

Relgard,

All iConomy minas has been converted into a minas note item, using the map. This minas note has the value in minas written on it.

Minas notes can be split by typing a command, or combined by placing them on each other. This way you can split your minas however you choose, but it won't clog up your inventory like it would if it were just emeralds.

The bank is more of an exchange service between emeralds and minas, rather than an actual bank. Storage banks will be player-run.

The bank (Ender Chest) converts minas to emeralds. You put emeralds in the bank, and it turns them to minas notes in divisions you choose, or you can use it to convert minas notes into emeralds. You can't put emeralds in the bank to convert and just leave them there, as they'll be removed when the server restarts to stop people leaving their emeralds in the 'bank' chest. The bank chest exists only to convert emeralds to minas and vice versa. Mobs drop emeralds.

To store your minas, you just put your minas notes in your chests, and split off what you want to take with you. If you need somewhere to store these notes, I imagine player storage banks should crop up soon. Kal'Anart has had 'cubbies', cheap little storage rooms, for months.

They said on the previous page that they'll be refunding lost minas due to bugs. I'd imagine they have the minas totals saved in server backups.

Then it is your own fault, move to a major city, or go to spawn, It is really simple.
