ignesae’ii. Little war. What was mere vehement banter painted more grotesque imagery, every accusation a motion that drew red rivers and every defense or feign as a thunderous clash of steel to ears that had grown acutely sensitive. Arn’s return of words assured Dio that at least one had listened, however that ability was one to regret for the Maheral as an authoritative exclamation sped toward being heard. Lowered eyelids were the only sign of the slight anguish.

"My words with care I choose. Do not understand them through a veil of lonely solitude, nor withdrawn sanctuary. Good may be offered to the far realms even as your own prospers; flourishes with the same purity that the first vision bore. No council that rules over ArmaLuna will I be a part of and I thusly express my reasoning for the refusal: a guardian of the dream that two created was named before we made to gather here. He hears my words now. When upon ArmaLuna I tread, it is his custom - the true master of the isle - that I will pay respect to, and no other."

Now Dio removed his glance from Arn and made to observe the others as he spoke. As his eyes and neck shifted, they rested upon the Rex longer each time they passed him and a bemused expression as it done with James before ending up holding the gaze toward the end of the table.

"Pride should not be so blinding as to see us assuming a welcome where none had been given before. Where the advocates of life dwell, no collection of whims shall suffice nor our detached knowledge. Though a council seems not nearly detestable, spoken by another dreamer himself too! It is not the wisdom needed. Who knows ArmaLuna best above all? Not we. Should you have been forbid from entering, whom would be the true discourteous one? They who gave their own welcome, or those that had it extended toward them? Paradise for the artisan is so under its single guide. Let it remain thus."

Kyral looks at Cethis and Sythra with a grin as she takes out a piece of parchment, she seems to be sketching something out.

"I got an idea, just a moment though, alright? Also, who is in charge of Armaluna's activities as of right now Sythra?"

Dante has been remaining silent for quite a while now, speaking in a low hushed tone at Kyral's query.

"I believe that would be myself."

Kyral looks at Dante and nods. Resuming her work as she looks at everyone in the room once as she sketches more, humming lightly to herself.

Kyral finishes the sketch as she grins, looking to everyone as she says.

All done. Everyone take a look, if you have a question, issue or anything we can discuss it. Edits can be made and I will make them for you.

Kyral places the chart in the middle of the table, grinning.

"Allow me to go over the basics.

The people who wish to have their claim to Armaluna will join the aforementioned council. I myself will not join, as I am not interested in any more land, but I would love to hold events for the citizens if I would be allowed. Aeroch Nor would also assist if for any reason should ArmaLuna come under attack.

If say Holm went to war.... with say the Dwarves for some strange reason, Holm's council member would be taken off the council until the war ends, in order to keep the council moving forward, and in order for Holm to have as many warm bodies to fight.

If an all out war broke out, Armaluna would close entirely, as I mentioned before they would only re open if the war ends.

No one on the Council has more power then the other, making this a fair and even when it come to decision making. Inactivity on the council will warrant the head of each nation and noble house mentioned to bring forth another representative. If they can not, they would deal with this missing spot much like they would deal with it if say that part of the council is at war.

No warships can enter the docks of Armaluna, this is forbidden and may result in complete expulsion from the council. No exemptions."

Kyral sighs as she takes a well deserved sip of wine. Relaxing herself.

"Any questions?"

Growls under his breath as Holm is mentioned, raising his eyes from the table he looks at Kyral, his tone cold and his face harsh

"Why Holm? Missing it's cold weather..? Or maybe your last hosts body after all. I will ask that next time, you do not mention Holm. I have to disagree with a council on it. For several different reasons. Let's say.. the silverblades found favor in Armaluna's council member, than they would hold the power over the island. I ask you what is wrong with letting the elves handle it..? They just acquired it, so they have yet to make much progress. After all, a empty city is hard to build back up. I think you would know this best Kyral, especially after what you did with Holm. I say, why not let the elves have three elven weeks to bring it back up? And if they fail, try the council system."

Titania nods slowly, agreeing with Cethis. She hesitates before speaking in a quieter tone.

"I have to also bring up that a similar council system was used in Holm before Izier completely removed the council as a whole. With the council, the only upside was that communication between the districts increased, but a much more problematic situation arose. Nothing was accomplished between the constant bickering and useless arguing."

She glances to Cethis, smiling slightly.

"I agree with Cethis fully. I don't see a problem with the elves handling this situation. If they fail,I suppose the council could be given a try...But then I ask, is a council necessarily needed? Why can't ArmaLuna govern itself after it is helped back onto its feet?"

The High Princess sits up in her chair to address everyone present.

"I would like to remind everyone that the High Council of Malinor will have the final say in this affair. ArmaLuna is currently our sovereign territory. We are only entertaining the idea of allowing everyone's input as a courtesy. But in the end it will be Malinor that decides its fate. We have not yet chosen which route to take. If we find the idea of a multi-national council agreeable, we may move forward with that. However, if disagreements continue, then it would be very obvious that such a council would fail and we will choose another course of action."

Sythra sits back after looking to everyone in the room.

"The ideal solution would to have seen ArmaLuna govern itself as it always has. But the reason we are all present here is because it has shown that it could not. Their former leader requested aid and we provided. If this fact is still disputed by the residents and those residents Only of ArmaLuna, then this discussion will have to be postponed while The High Council meets privately with these few to work out a resolution."

"I would like to remind everyone that the High Council of Malinor will have the final say in this affair.

Upon hearing that statement, Gorgul expression turns to one of anger. He tempers himself for only a few moments for Sythra to hastily finish her address before barking to the council.

"I had thoughts, thoughts that our word held weight. But the word of the ArmaLuna isle weigh nothing? This brings wrath and disappointment."

"I do not see ArmaLuna being judged by those whose army hides in tree.

I do not see ArmaLuna being judged by those who summons allies armed to the teeth and make war-speech, at the sight of royal guard.

I do not see ArmaLuna being judged by those who base verdict among themselves when the citizens should have word."

The Rex grumbles, angered and peeved. He finds himself disappointed he had come to the meeting and witnessed what he has seen. Moreover, he is surprised that the elves have acted such a way. The Orcish way would have been to annex the island and giving its denizens no final political say, but surely not the elves. But if the elves wished to act in the Orcish way, naturally the Rex would too.

Arn raises an eyebrow at Sythra's words as he clears his throat, sitting up in his chair.

"I hope you do not mean to state that ArmaLuna has no say in the matter? ArmaLuna is still very much its own and though you may 'own' it in the literal sense, you surely do not own it in spirit. Perhaps I was wrong in my trust that this would turn out as a favorable option for all...

I know for a fact that the Silverblades have the resources to support ArmaLuna, they're a very rich family. I also know that they have the power to hold it if it ever fell under attack, especially with their alliance to the orcs. And I'm sure that they would give me a say in its governing being that I am one of its oldest residents. Yet as for Malinor, I am beginning to doubt that the elven nation is truly ArmaLuna's best choice..."

Rises from his chair, slamming his fist into the table he looks at the Rex, his eyes seething as he hisses through his teeth

"Enough about my guard! If you believe this to be an army then your own forces must be small, which means you brought half an army here! Those "War speeches" are nothing more than me giving my men something to fight for! Something other than bloodshed and hate. Do not turn the table on them for your mistakes. You brought your "guard". I brought mine. You came here bearing arms, with Syrio's Beard! Sythra is right, is the elves choice. Not yours. You came here to talk of diplomacy, then talk. Enough about armies, enough about war. These lands do not belong to you, so it is the elves say. If you get this angry about it.. do you believe you own it? That you are the rightful ruler of it? Armaluna has its representative, let them decide amongst themselves what they want. But I grow weary of your petty insults and jabs. You seem to forget, you brought your own forces. It would have four people to make it here. Not all these men. Now calm yourself Rex, and let them speak about it."

Letting out a ragged sigh he sits back down, looking over to Sythra as he waits, tapping his chair sides rapidly in his anger

((Cracker and Mingpow, I think you missed my last sentence, though it might have been a bit unclear, so I'll respond ICly))

I never stated that ArmaLuna would never have a say. Their leader had already discussed the ordeal with our council. However it is apparent that he had not gone to his own people about all of the details.

I want to mend that before considering any further discussions. While I did state that Malinor would have the final say with these external affairs, I did not say that the residents of ArmaLuna would not have a say in those of internal nature. Of course, the resolution of these internal affairs could have a dynamic impact on the results of our meeting here.

For now, this discussion is adjourned until the people of ArmaLuna can meet with the High Council.

*Nicolas begins to laugh at the Holm leader as he grows anger. He sits up proper in his chair readying to speak his final words. Nicolas tries hard to cease his laughter so he may inform the council and its allies of his decision.*

"Holm, you've embarrassed yourselves enough in this expedition for your nation. I suggest you be careful when you leave Malinor tonight... as I can not assure that one my men won't stab you like a little boy. On wards to the council of Malinor and the High Princess, I've made my words clear the second I stood in your land. I shall not bother to repeat these things any longer. As for my alliances and friends I've brought here who wish for a more diplomatic approach for this problem, I dread to tell you, I'm sorry. And for those who wish to march out along side me, shall we no longer speak with these useless Elves and their weak allies. Shall this problem over Armaluna be held on the battleground and not in this civil manner that I hoped to do. Unless of course Malinor surrenders Armaluna to the Silverblades and the Orcs, then only can I offer such peace for you. If you choose not to agree with my terms then your all bloody dead."

*Nicolas and his allies walk out of Malinor and get on a different boat than Syrio's Beard to disguise they're exact location. They're boat departs first then followed by the rest of his boats. He turns to his allies and soldiers one last time to tell them.*

"God Wills It."

Cethis shakes his head in disgusts as Nice leaves, turning to Sythra he speaks quietly, his tone almost apologetic

"I did not mean for this to happen Sythra. I just wanted to ensure our allies were safe and fine. I will be sending my guard back to Holm, but I will stay if you will let me"

Bowing his head he rises from the table, turning to Titania he walks forward and whispers in her ear. Looking back he bows his head to the representative from Armaluna

"Do forgive me. But I will not apologize for my actions in bringing my guard. They had brought their own, and we both know it was more than they needed. They had no intention of diplomatic talk, but instead to strong-arm the elves."

Turning his body he bows his head to Sythra, motioning as he makes his way to the door, giving them enough time to make a response if they wish
