Mood Music

This is a project that I have been working on with unnamed peoples, rest assured they are from the very member-base that much of you come from. This is not the Higher-ups conniving, but the intelligent players working together and collaborating. We have a policy of 'no deadlines' to ensure that those working with the Projekt are able to get their needs met in-real-life and have what time they wish to dedicate to roleplay in Asulon. This Projekt very much has EVERYTHING to do with Asulon, the root of our desire of secrecy is like that of when you try to surprise a family member or friend with a birthday gift; you all will love the results ;)

We leave the community of LotC to ruminate and estimate what we hide within the cloaks of the Occultus, whether by your sharp guessing or by milestones the members of the Projekt reach, we will reveal more and more of our images and leave the rest to your imagination! Don't worry, the GMs are just as nonchalantly uninformed and welcome to guess and wonder as the newest members are!

PS: The Arabic Script is not a 'hint' at all, we chose this look for the Occultus Banner to give a visual taste of what Occultus means; 'Secret' ;). Likewise, this is not tied towards the Spire at all.

A Tune To Give Hints

The First Image is what would appear on a coin, it is as if there is dirt on it, perhaps through estimation or further workings in the Projekt will we see what it is in entirety. Let the First Guess Begin! ;)

Discuss what you think may be upon the coin, discuss what you think the Projekt is, raise Kane on the forums, Teamspeak, and other affiliated means of communication and start wondering what the hell I am doing! ;)

Its a project for 3.0 and your ideas for it. You have many location names and a way for us to go there that follows your lore. Too bad it wont be used :I

On the coin, the two silver shapes partially showing take the shape of spears. This may imply a militaristic faction bring related to the Projekt. Second, the engravings in the bottom left of the image appear to be the letters "T" and "H". These may for the word "The", which will be followed by another, more specific word.

Unfortunately Hiebe, you are wrong, I had anticipated that being the 'nearest choice' so to speak. Nein, this very much has EVERYTHING to do with Asulon and no shifts of map necessary comrade.

Given: the obscured iconography presented is like that which may be found on a coin.

The following are reasonable logical implications (> is an implication, # is a foreknown truth):

>Within the same Narrative Domain as the iconography there do in fact exist a coin or coins which carry this iconography.

#There do not exist coins in this Narrative Domain which are not made by humans.

>This coin or coins which exist in the Narrative Domain which I shall now dub "Occultus", are the work of humans or other similarly intellectually advanced unknown races. This race or people shall be dubbed the "Occults".

#'Coin' in itself often signifies a metallic object used for currency purposes in human society. Though there are other forms of currency, such as shells (as was used by less advanced human peoples) or paper money, the usage of 'coin' suggests that the object is circular with a thin width.

>The Occults are at least technologically sophisticated to fashion metals into usable currency. It is reasonable that they would therefore have at least some knowledge of metal-working.

>The fact that the Occults have a device of currency implies that there does exist Occult commerce and trade.

#The given iconography can be seen to have two letters, "TH", which are present in our Roman/English alphabet.

>It is reasonable to assume that the Occults have writing systems, apparently with an identical alphabet.

The coin has recently gained some attention, the coated dirt slowly being chipped away, more of the facade engraved is revealed...

Come on, use thy imagination, keep it guessing and keep rumor-milling :3
