Gah, I hated when that happened...my mother and father kept talking about all the christian things in the movies, completely ruining them for me. Not to mention, reading the books is like reading the bible...

They made him seem like that from the beggining Gaius, he's a metaphor for God.

Aslan is a great character. Any representation of Christ was not meant, as C.S. Lewis said it was not an allegory. Still, great representation of the sacrifice Christ made for us.

Actually. C.s. Lewis meant to make him a allegory of Jesus. Read the first Narnia book. Just like the bible creation. I love the books. One of my favorite series to this day.
