Hiebe 2493 Share Posted September 2, 2012 The Return to Karik Karik, the city of dwarves for many years after their escape from asulon. Built by ancient Dervas, this city held the dwarves for many years, only to be lost to an attack by dragons. This attack made the dwarves homeless and separated and useless conflicts ensued. The city laid dormant for 30 years and after a Council Meeting it was decided that the city was to be rebuilt for a grand return to the underground. Hiebe Irongut put together a small hardworking team to be sent into the dangerous caverns of Karik for the job of rebuilding it. Thoar Caspien, Tortek Irongut, and Hiebe himself was the small team. When they arrived the city was a total ruin. They had a small meeting and got to work. The entertainment district was turned into into the main city hub. Buildings were renovated to do multiple roles and many homes were built. Hands were broken, and curse words yelled but eventually the building was completed. Hiebe sent word to the other Clan Lords of the successful rebuilding of the city and how it is ready for the inhabitants of the Dwarven Empire. *A letter is posted in all Dwarven Holds of the land and sent to the other lands of the world of Asulon* "Dwarves of Asluon, after many years it is time for our glorious return to Karik. The city is rebuilt and the Council of Lords has approved our return to the underground caverns of this world. On the next seed there will be a auction held to sell off the shops of the city to be the fairest to each dwarf. In the terms of homes, each noble clan will be incharge of selling homes in their district of the housing area. Grandaxe, Goldhand, and Irongut will be clans in charge of selling homes. The city and the nation will be run by the Clan Lords themselves. Hiebe, Bazian, and Gultroid will be the council of nobles. A official announcement of jobs and the dwarves running them will be given. All dwarves no matter of their past will be accepted back into this city and given a chance to prove themselves to the nation and the lords. May your beards grow long and the Paragons watch over you." (the auction will be held tomm, 2 pm PST time. There is currently 1 tevern/inn, 10 shops, 1 brothel for sale and will be sold to the highest bidder. We finally did it! Lets get back to our fawkin' heritage!" *Thoar begins a thunderous chant, yelling "Huzzah" for the new creation of karik and the return for all us dwarfs to our old capital and all back into one enormous capital instead of multiple holds. The Clan leaders and a good portion of the clan members will be living in karik though. I suggest everyone go take a look at karik as it has turned out much nicer and finally repaired correctly. We are not as spread out as we used to be nor is karik as large as it was.
