I play mc servers regularly. It is my fun of the day to play with people and i dont want to have to go to servers that i have sworn not to return to until they fix things. That would be bad for my rep. and their servers are horid. they claim to be rp but really arent. anyways, Uping doner perks isnt going to help. If i could have donated i would have already. the perks arent the problem. its the lack of money. the ads wouldnt just give us a bunch of money as soon as we all open them up. isnt a weekly thing with the ads? Anyways, I SOOOO wish i could donate right now... But sadly i cant. all i can think of is rent the software for now for the cheapest you can and work on buying it fully later. and guys. this bs "My uncle is an african prince! He can declare war!" isnt helping. its spam. cut it out please. While I agree with your ideas, I think we should look towards less cost-affecting ways of preventing DDoS attacks in the first place. Also, don't you think that the Yogs server would get DDoS'd frequently? Well I'm sure there are attempts, but it never happens, and I highly doubt they get that much donation money to buy anti-DDoS protection. And for a DDoS to even occur, they have to know your internal IP, so perhaps try hiding the internal IP via proxy and/or making it so you only see it when you connected? (I'm not an expert on this, I'm just suggesting some basic things I know, don't quote me on this) Type into your browser Login.Lordofthecraft.net, it shows you the internal ip. or at least i think it does. Oh, there are many reasons why someone would want so badly to see a server like LoTC burn.
