Ante'vuln examines the boards. A crowded mass of papers, given restless motion by a stray breeze--she searches for a blank spot amongst the notices for yet another. There is room for no new documentation, so she decides to place the notice on top of a few older ones. Unrolling her heavy scroll and placing it against the firm surface, she pins it atop its age-yellowed fellows. There. It'd have to do, she supposes.

Attention Mali'aheral of the grand city of Haelun'or:

The time has come! We must put the trust of many within a few! You, lliran, must choose who best exemplifies the notions of maehr'sae hiylun'ehya. You must select from our citizens, who justice favors.

It is no small thing I ask of you. In order to bring The Silver City from her knees, we all must rise. Rise to the challenge of building what does not exist yet, rise to usher in a new era--a new peace, security, and purity within our honored company.

I move that we elect elves to -three- positions open as judges, as per the requirements of the referendum.

Without further ado, I present this set of instructions:

Each of you is granted two votes. You have two says in this manner, so to speak.

You may cast two opinions, which shall be counted as your right as citizen designates. You may either nominate a fellow elf to a position, or second someone else's nomination. You must cast your opinion twice, but you may use these votes in any manner you wish; for either nominations or seconds.

For an example, I shall cast my own votes.

I nominate Lucion Sullas as a justice.

I second my own nomination, as my second movement.

Cast your ballots, citizens! They shall be counted as a matter of public record, and you shall know that you have been truly represented!

Kolyat reads carefully over the script. Post completion he pins his note below the document.

May one nominate themselves, as so it appears I nominate myself on the grounds of my assistance in the creation of the referendum and my lack of engagement with others of the nominated, I wish to protect my family much the same as others of the nominated . Should a more complete and more formal explanation as to the other attributes that qualify myself for such a list one need but ask, and I shall explain.

My second vote however is torn between two very capable elves. I believe it shall however ride in this instance with Ante'vuln.

-Kolyat Alfakyn

Kolyat nods solemnly after signing the document and walks away.

Drecar walks merrily through the city until he spots something out of place. He looks all about to find it, until he looks towards the notice board and sees a brand new notice! He quickly walks over to read it. After reading Drecar pulls out a small piece of paper and his ink and write down two names.

I would like to use my two votes to nominate Dio and Arthane and Seth.

-Tilruir'Linan Drecar Razier.

Silir'ilume exits the Legion headquarters and heads towards his forge. On the way he notices a fresh document fresh, newly posted document on the boards. He reads it carefully, thinking the decision over for a bit. After doing so, he fetches a quill and small sheet of paper from his home and writes...

I, Silir'ilume, hereby nominate Lucion Sullas as a justice of Haelun'or. I use my second nomination to support my first action.

Silir'ilume nods, posting his paper on the board near the original document. He turns, heading down the street towards his original destination.

Lucion stands perfectly still as his eyes dart over the notice, reading every detail. His white robes flitter in the breeze as he slowly pulls his arms behind his back. Reading over Ante'vuln's choices, he narrows his eyes for a moment, but quickly returns to his regular blank expression. He pulls his hand to his chin, and scratches it once, afterwards looking up to the sky and considering his own choices. One choice was obvious, the second, difficult. Still looking up at the sky, Lucion removes a single piece of bone-white paper from his coat. Looking down to it, he scribbles a short note before pinning it to the notice itself.

"I vote for those who I believe will remain clear-minded and rational in such an important task. My votes are as thus:

One to Arthane Lazul, the other to Ante'vuln Lazul.

L. Sullas"

Seth sighs as he sees three votes on him, he thinks it's time he should cast his votes, after a long time he has been thinking, and now he could not delay it anymore, later that day he places a note with his votes on, the

"I, Legate Seth Calith, has casted my votes, and the voted ones is as following, Tilruir'Arthane Lazül and Lucion Sullas, as I think they are clear minded. I am sure their judgement will stay true."

Faerni pours over the board with unrestrained wonder. She had never seen so many pages pinned in one place. The soft rustle they made, so very similar to the whisper of fallen leaves, oh how it filled her with such delight ! A giggle escapes her mouth before she sets upon the entrapped leaflets. Her eyes are wide her hands frantically touching everything, skimming through them at a break neck pace. She steps back the gentle meandering breeze taking hold of a sheet, and after a brief flapping, engulfs the rests of the pages. The sound of whispers waiting to be heard. Faerni frowns slightly

" Why are there no pictures, pictures make everything better ... "

The thought still holds her attention as the wind liberates a few alabaster strands, the silvery threads waving gently in the soft breeze. Their freedom is short lived as an absent minded hand returns them to their proper place. Her eye catches the above document, the violet focuses as she rushes forward, flattening it out.

" Why are there so many notes attached to this ? They are so Flappy ! "

A smile illuminates her face as she let's out another unrestrained giggle. Her attention once again returns to the page and she, after a period of time finishes reading the notice and all attached documents. She thinks for a bit before announcing out loud.

" I Should vote for seth ! "

though she immediately reconsiders the notion and ponders as she bites her lip

"What about Yuln ? I have two votes ! But Vuln was nice to me, and I don't want to make people feel left out ... two is too few I'll vote for everyone !"

Content with her decision she lays down to begin writing. She removes a quill and a small ink bottle from a sack, having been flung to the ground, sits dejectedly on the stone of the street. She begins writing having to in more than one instance strike through a word. She holds up the small note in triumph posting it to the board as the rest before her have done .

I vte vote for Seth, and for Yuln and for Vuln and for Art

  • Seth
  • Yuln
  • Vuln
  • Arthane

Everyone, but I don't vote for Lucion, he is a meany.

~ Faerni ~

Faerni pins the note onto the document clasping her hands together in delight, and bringing them close to her chest. She let's out a small gasp and quickly pens in

This needs more pictures

She smiles brightly before gathering her belongings and scurrying away. A particularly strong gust of wind uplifts the page from its imprisonment and sends it floating to the ground, as the gusts continue the paper sails across the city, fetching up in a corner of the book shop.

Delonna slowly approaches the notice board with a note in hand. He sighs softly as he rereads the notes, confirming that his vote will affect nothing. He frowns slightly, before purposly pinning his note over Lucion's.

I pledge both my votes to nominate Arthane Lazul.

~Delonna.

Once his note is posted, he glares at it for a moment, before wandering off.

A slight breeze blows around you as you stand in front of Haelun'or's message board once more, perusing the various notifications and referendums that have been placed there over the last few months. A particularly strong wind suddenly blows past, causing the various pieces of parchment in front of you to ruffle slightly from their original positions. Once the papers have settled, you notice that a new note appears to have been posted in the section reserved for Haelun'orian judge nominations. Leaning a bit closer to investigate, you begin to scan over the parchment with slight interest.
