Many of the buildings I currently see in these apps are rushed as many people really do want to be part of the building team.. I suggest pushing back the app acceptance date to Friday this week as we wIll want quality examples and I am aware of quite a few people who are working on some quality structures. Also if this deos happen I would reccomend those who have applied to look more into re designing some buildings and making some quality work as I have mentioned.

I should probably also add to this by saying that what we need are people who are fairly versatile in what they can build. This can be shown through putting a lot more effort into the designs, rather than just giving us a small example. We need to know both the interior and exterior buildings you are capable of designing. I think what Charles is saying is that some applicants aren't giving us much to judge off of. Again, spots are very limited so we're only going to accept applications which have this effort put into them. I would strongly advise building something from scratch if you wish to be accepted or at least give examples of both interior and exterior dwarven architecture.

As Exo said, we're not using cobblestone in the building designs so try not to include it in screenshots if you can. :P

Experience: I've been able to build many things on and off LOtC in my time on minecraft. Most of my builds are created on another server that I play on with my friends, and I just have built them in my time of playing minecraft. Most of the pictures you will see have been built recently in my spare time. In our move to Kal'Karik recently I decided to 'spiff up' the Goldhand district after seeing it. It appeared to me to look a bit dim, so I made a good bit of changes to make things more aesthetically pleasing in my eyes. Another thing i've done in Kal'Karik was build and design the mining site in it's entirety. (the main room and the storage rooms that is) Some builds on Alras with Rasun and Gorum, and the other builds you see I have made in my free time, but i've blabbed on enough, here are the pictures!

A couple of the pictures have been uploaded in two different texture packs as I did see a little difference in the two, but it's up to you whichever you prefer.

Experience: I've built and furnished several things since my joining in 1.0. Although I've been fairly inactive lately, I enjoy building and would love to get a bit of LOTC inspiration from it once more. I'm excited to get back into LOTC and regardless of whether I'm accepted into the build team, I'm happy to help out in any way possible. I'm also fairly good with mapping out/sketching plans and landscape design, which could prove beneficial for the city.
