MC Name: yoku651

Mori Name: Isteth'Nar (Isteth for short)

Age (In Mori and Human): 50 (250 Human years)

Mother's Name: Zauviir

Appreance: Isteth is 5'8" tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He was often called handsome throughout the cave, though there were times when he was called ugly. He has silver hair, but not completely grey. More like a slightly darkened white. His skin is a dark grey, and his eyes are a slightly dark purple. His clothes are brown themed and unlike most Mori, it covers quite some amount of skin, as he doesn't feel comfortable showing his body. Because of this, he was often thought of as weak.

Brief History:

Isteth'Nar, born into the Commoners, lived a fairly easy early life with his older and younger brothers. He didn't do anything out of the normal for his infant-hood and most of his childhood. He was educated normally and did any work that was assigned. Late childhood is really when he started doing things ... different. He became very adventurous. He often ran off from work and explored parts of the cave that no other Mori really went to or was abandoned, though he wished he could explore the surface. The only problem with that of course is the wretched outsiders and sunlight, so Isteth stayed in the cave. Isteth was caught from time to time, but on unlucky occasions. Isteth was whipped for his actions, though he persevered through the pain.

Getting older, and a bit more mature, by the time he became almost a teenager, he didn't venture AS much, but he still did from time to time when he didn't feel like doing work or when he had nothing to do. But, these explorations went far beyond the cave. He sneaked out on very rare occasions to the surface, being sure to shield his eyes as much as possible. It took him two human years to get as used to the sunlight as a Mori could get. Now that he could see just enough, he decided to adventure, but still staying in the cave most of the time.

~The height of a fully grown Mori’Quessir is on average 5'6" - 6'2", a child entering adolescence would not be this tall or weigh as much as an adult.

~The only reason he would be called handsome by a female would be to seduce him, compliments don’t exactly get paid out without ulterior motives. Rather they would be more likely to call him ugly if they did not care to waste their time with him.

~He would almost certainly be known to be weak by all who know of him if his usual raiment covered the majority of his body.

~His rebellion would swiftly be quelled, the first beating might be painful though the message would be clear. The second would be much more brutal, possibly even leaving him with open wounds across his entire back and other parts of his body. Were it to occur again I have little doubt the skin would be torn brutally across his back and the rest of his body and he would be left bleeding in an alley. Every beating after would get exponentially worse culminating with sacrifice if he would not conform and be a ‘proper’ Mori.

~Mori take many years to even become slightly more resilient against sunlight. In a period of two human years the more light that he could handle is not going to be noticeable. Not only is it painful, but it also causes blindness for many days and possibly even a week or more depending on how severely the eyes were damaged. Extended exposure or repeated severe exposure could even leave permanent damage to the eyes. Slowly over a space of two, possibly even three or more decades (Mori Year Decades) would a Mori become even noticeably more able to withstand light. It would take many years, easily surpassing a decade in Mori years before you would be as fully accustomed to light as possible.

If you believe my judgement of this application was unfair, or that any of my points of denial were invalid you can PM me about them. You may reapply after 12 hours have passed and any necessary changes have been made to the application.

Thank you for your input. I shall soak this all in and re-apply once I fully understand this lore
