Old-Rattlesnake 1534 Share Posted October 31, 2012 Knight Constable Julien strolls through the streets of Salvus with his hand gripped tightly around the broad hilt of his rapier hanging at his side, he flicks his pointing hand stylishly at the gate as one of the guardsmen open it for him. He nails yet another notice into the board outside the walls, rubs his chin in contemplation as he looks over it, and throws his arms in the air before running away shouting, "Ay am free! Free of z'iz idiohzy and free of z'eze insuffehrable people!" Upon closer inspection, the notice is seen to read, in very bold letters: I quit. (( In all honestly I don't have the time or the patience to switch directly from a gypsy living in the woods for over a RL year to a guard captain. What were tha' problems 'e 'ad with tha' city? I understand crime was a factor, but it is 'is job ta' stop it. I only wish ta' know what made 'im quit! The Shields represent only Salvus and and fight to defend its people, the Shields are payed through the Salvus Government. Elysians work to guard and act upon the whim of the Hightower family and are payed by the Hightower family. You also seem unable to lead as you do not understand the Salvus Shields as you believe that is lead by one man when it is lead by three constables. Also, we are not simply servants of the Hightowers, but protectors when needed. For example, we help all who need help. Also, we tell nobody of our inner-workings, not even Godfrey himself.
