Scicle's eyes open quickly as he sits up in his bed in a cold sweat. He looks around expecting to see his bed in Holmes, but is met with the moist, tree of a Den he has in the Kha Lands. He looks around the room, half of him confused and the other half happy. He looks around seeing the renovations that took him days to make. The quiet taps of rain on his leaf curtains soothes his body as he relaxes and looks beside him to see Isiris sleeping next to him.

"She is so beautiful..."

Scicle smiles at her for a minute or two before looking at the chest across the room. He feels the book inside, as if it beckons him to continue reading it. He shakes his head, looking back at Isiris.

"I can't... I can't for her..."

He smiles, kissing her on the forehead before curling up back in the bed and drifting off to sleep the night away...
