3.0 possibilities for Salvus

Hello Salvians, with the recent destruction with Asulon I've come before you to ask of you a few things that you want want in 3.0. I'll be addings polls to the different areas and you people decide what you want and I will terraform a little area to be ready to be built on when server hits!

I think a nice designated market area, some hilly lands that could be used for houses and a couple gorges/fjords/lakes would be quite nice.

As for the other stuff:

Just for the sake of legitimacy I think we should have ruins that we build on and not a fully prebuilt place. It wouldn't really make sense.

Sewers are always something nice that add mystery to the city and make ideal bandit places as long as they arn't simply 4x4 tunnels but have drainage rooms etc, and bandits are allowed to make hideouts in them.

Nothing to say here really apart from the fact it wouldn't make much sense to have barracks outside of the city.

Just a couple homes I think, so we do have a chance to settle down and start RP'ing and not have to deal with the full hectic building frenzy first.

I think a couple jobs would be good, and it could easily be RP'd you just brought some valuables with you.

I personally think it should be a start from scratch, but with some money backing the project. Just like Salvus started the first time.

I've taken into consideration what you've all posted, a few of the topics are close so I'll give those more time to see if separation happens. Also don't be dis encouraged for giving your opinion if you're not from Salvus. You play this server so you should enjoy all aspects of it!

Just a small question about the new Salvus 3.0. Will previous owners from Asulon be able to sort of "ask" to re-build their houses/shops? I'd really like to keep doing the Tavern/Inn RP. Was really fun.

Through RP you could gain your Tavern back :) It might get a bit hectic though for the first two or three weeks. Then things will cool down.

Aye I plan to invest in such to have a nice treasurery back up in case another hit to the economy comes. But 3.0 will involve different types of trade you'll love I'm sure. The GMs may or may not talk about it soon.

Either way, it should turn out great. Whether it's prebuilt or not. Though, I do think that by having most of it pre-built and an economy to begin with, we will end up with more people running around the city.
