The temp server I think is what 2.5 is, or was. Now it's 2.5 and an official part of the lore once it's all finished and ready from what I have read.

Yes, but as mentioned previously a couple of times there are apparently over 3000 accepted apps. Hand picking through that mess is just well, a mess.

To clarify for everyone, an ETA for 3.0 is December 20, 2012. So, this new map is just a temporary server map I would think.
