A God Comes

The Halflings of New Vale wipe tears from their eyes on this day. Tibb, an elder of the Halflings, carries a body of their God, Pumpkin man. On this day, the 19 of the frost, the Halflings own God came down to speak with them, if only for a short while. Many gathered around, as the Pumpkin man only spoke few words. This small time was a blessing, every Hobbit from the village came down to hear the words of this God. Some were doubters, saying that this man was no God, some fell to the ground as true believers, but soon, the rain came. Rain poured over the small creatures, but they cared not, even if they should have seen the bad oman. An elf, his name not know, ran out of the crowd and stabbed the Pumpkin man, than, after being tackled by every Halfling within a mile radius, ran off with them as followers. The body of the Pumpkin man lay there, but it was to late, the body had no life. Soon, a few words were said by the unknowing, "If you are a God, show us!" For a moment, silence, but a lightning strike proved for them that this was a God. The Pumpkin man was NOT dead, but simply passed, and he was still watching. Cries of sadness and joy echoed to even the docks, as the Halflings rejoiced.

[[The Halflings have talked it over, December 1-18th will be "Pumpkin Festival" and the 19th "Pumpkin Day" to celebrate their God.... Cheers!]]

Knox lay slumped against the ground with a large stab wound buried deep into his chest as the halfling danced around him, happy in believing that their 'God' was still among them. Little did they know that they would be seeing their pumpkin God again soon after the monk's magic had seen him healed back to full health. But for now, they would celebrate.

(( XD I was the one who yelled for him to show that he was a God.

What made my character believe wasn't the lightning, but a pumpkin that fell from the sky into her hands. She wears it to this day. :D ))
