With the new world coming round rather fast, the Doomforged have decided that it would be a phenomenal time to give the players a chance to join us in our Role-Play experience. Unlike most Role-Play groups, we do not allow you to simply join, nor fill out an Application. We choose those who we know are skilled, do not Meta-Game or Power-Game, and will provide a fun experience for everyone. However, we have run out of ideas for people to play our characters.

This is where you, the player, come in. If you are interested in joining our group, simply post below, and in 3 days time ( December 23rd, 5pm EST ) We shall choose one or two players who we believe will be able to play with skill. We hope you the best, and look forward to recruiting!

Remember; by posting these answers below, you do understand that, to even be considered, you need to be ready to take this “Doomforged” Character as your main, as we want full-dedicated players.

The Doomforged thread & lore can be found by clicking here! As it is with most Role-Play groups, we require you to read the lore first. To make sure of that, we ask you these lore questions:

On the other hand, on the first weeks, should you get accepted, you will be guided by an elder player in order to attune to our customs, our culture accordingly, translating lore to in-game behaviour.

First of all, I myself am interested in seeing the outcomes of this. However, I can't stress enough how frustrated I could get, should I see the fruit of this thread be only spam, opinions about the Doomforged that don't go along with the topic at-hand, or any other sort of off-topic Drama. The server is undergoing Drama, but we, as a group, are slicking finely, don't take discussions and debates to this thread, and if you do feel uneasy about something, you can PM any of us. (Aryon (Aoze), DarkJames, this very account, Goldrim or Rhia.)

Second; I hope you have read this thread thoroughly, including the statement about how this character will be your main character, should you want to be one, and be selected... The main reason we are "Recruiting" is because we have lost so much players (Tyrion, Zezimus, Luchian, Battleme) to inactivity, or personal reasons. And some that wanted to join us, would put us in their alt character, whilst at the beginning playing this "Alt" a lot, soon diminishing the position of this character to a very abandoned state. I don't want to see this. I hope I didn't scare you off with this. :P

I read through carefully and saw that Yorri is the current Throl and the first to perfect the design. I assume he is the old Throl, even though Hodir was the one to discover the new use of the runes.

Who was the mother of the Doomforged?

The mother of the Doomforged was Faeyin. She gave birth to the three sons of Urir.

What are the canine-like creatures that assist the Doomforged?

The canine-like creatures are the Dirhim. Their main use being transportation.

I have met and RP'ed with a Doomforged, back in Kal'Alras and actually asked Goldrim how to join at one point. He said there were no openings so I waited. I have been on LoTc longer than a year by a long shot and would really enjoy the unique RP.

I will gladly use this as my main. I have been a dwarf for several months now, but none of the clans/racial groups seem as interesting. Hopefully, I am considered seriously.
