*puts a poster up convering the Sentinel Sign up pages along with all other papers regarding the sentinels and it read*

"Attention, The Sentinels have been Officially Disbanded and are no longer the guard force of Malinor. All Sentinels are to transfer and sign up with the Noldarim. This has been ordered by Prince Khel of the High Council."

Khel makes a few changes to the message above

Attention, The Sentinels have been Officially Disbanded Inactive and are no longer the an effective guard force of Malinor. All Sentinels are to should transfer and sign up with the Noldarim. This has been ordered suggested by Prince Khel of the High Council."

Edit: Khel later comes and removes the post entirely. It's false

OOC: Will the former Sentinels be given ease of access into the Noladrim ranks? Or will they have to start all over?

(( The Sentinels will all start as recruits, should they even be accepted as that. They will undergo the same process as any Elf would. Also note that even becoming a recruit isn't certain. Nevertheless, we hope to see you soon!

Azel stares at the sign and laughs loudly. "Inactive?! What kind of bull **** is this?!" He laughs even harder. "The Sentinels train daily and have been on the site of many different crimes. I dare anyone to speak otherwise against that. It is the greeed and power hungry Elves that wish to see the Sentinels removed."

Serva closes his eyes and shakes his head. He wonders for the first time if Khel really knows what he is talking about. The entire population of Malinor at that.

"I would think, that one would consider the situation at hand before such a act. We're in the middle of a voyage the same scale, if not larger, than that from Aegis. Just as well, we've blazed through two high commanders. As Azel said, the Sentinels are training daily, and are in essence, completely reorganizing. All we need is time to get ourselves organized. Once we reach Anthos, things will change, if not earlier.  I would note that before we left Asulon, the Sentinels were plenty effective due to the fact we actually had a way to regulate traffic, as well as Normandor being an actual capitol. This miserable piece of soil we call home offers no advantage to our efforts. Joining the Noldarim will not change anything, but destroy the work of those who have commited themselves."

Serva now writes his own note, posting it below that which is above

It comes to my attention that while it is true the Sentinels are not as effective as they were in the last days of Asulon, the whole of Malinor seems to think that the guard force should be able to prevent everything. Even when we have twice as many Gladewatchers as we do now, that is impossible. Many seem to think we should be able to defend this rock with no support from the civilians. Again, this is completely impossible. We cannot stop everything when there are always swords drawn in Malinor. We are in a transitional phase, and the lack of help, quite simply, does not help. I would point out, that I have yet to see a Noldarim stop a crime where there wasn't a larger Sentinel presence. Just as well, the lack of laws allowing Sentinels to stop almost any individual criples our power. Adding these would give us the power we need to keep individuals who have history of crime off our land without the approval of a prince. I myself would bring this to the council's attention and do what it takes to get the Sentinels back to their former glory. Be it here or Anthos, I will not see an act, which is so foolish even in my young eyes, go unquestioned. It is not a matter of rank or pride, but one that is needed in order to protect Malinor.

Azel nods to what Serva said and continues on with him.

"I do not feel that removing the Sentinels is the way to go. I know that most, if not all Sentinels will go on their way instead of joining this group of up starts. The Sentinels have worked long and hard and many of the members I look at as if they were family. The growth of the Initiates promises a strong and profiting future for Malinor, but disbanding them is not the way to do that. Malinor will lose some of its finest warriors and most caring people if this continues..."

Azel growls as he finishes.

Serva stops as he listens to Azel's point

"Indeed. You, Pelilasdir, Iaewon, Beren, Benedict, myself, and Almecki. We would likely lose military allegiance of those mentioned. That is without going into any mention of our mass of Initiates, that provides the Sentinels with a promising future. Even if it takes us as long as to reach Anthos, which is when Orym originally planned to do a mass promotion, we would gain a massive flux of Gladewatchers. I believe that the removal of the Sentinels is not only the wrong way to go, but as I feel to be so bold, a condemnation for Malinor as a whole. War is knocking on our door, and this is how the Sentinels, who are plenty busy preparing for it, are answered. I mean no disrespect to the any in the High Council, but this seems like the decision of one even younger than I."

Azel nods, completely surprised that Serva and himself are on the same page for once. He continues speaking, unable to stop himself, a growing sense of pride for the Sentinels blooms within him.

"When I originally joined the Sentinels, Prince Khel himself told me I could become of officer rank from all I did for Malinor... I was denied that ability and I took that with pride and a stoic mind. That at first dissuaded me, making it hard for me to continue to work, but I did so. I did it because it was the right thing to do, the right thing for myself and for Malinor. As I look at the officers and the Initiates, I see they do it because it is the right thing to do. All are strong and kind hearted men and women alike. If we remove the Sentinels, these strong warriors will resign from the military. This new military... Well... Its nothing I respect. Its a band of self-held, upheld warriors that have no heart."

A grand pardon on behalf of the council in the readings of Prince Khels' words. Though erked in his mind due to events that have unfolded across the diplomatic events of late involving the Uuruk and Bortu meetings. The Sentinels still serve as the official Malinor Guard under the leadership of High Commander Orym. While the Noladrim do now grow in numbers and in due time will be granted official duties to help enforce the edict of the council and defend our borders this will be alongside our long since established Military defence of Sentinels.

Again As a Council Member I wish to enlighten those on the standing of the council towards its guard. And for it to be clear the Sentinels are still active are still responsible for our defence, and for our laws from days of past and to future this sha'll not change.

Military Supervisor,

Prince Oceas Warwick of Malinor
