Okay, I need help. My little brother's computer, which I use, gets the BSOD when it boots up. However, the driver that is causing this to occur is fbfmon.sys. When I try to delete said driver from command prompt, it says that windows cannot find the driver, though when I try to load up safe mode from F8, it says that fbfmon.sys is loaded in one of the many lines that say so. Any suggestions?

(1) boot using a Linux live disc- Slitaz, Fedora, Ubuntu or anything you fancy

(2) navigate to your hard drive and go to Windows/System32/drivers

(3) look for fbfmon.sys- delete it

(4) just to make sure- i then deleted the Lenovo EE Boot Optimiser in the Program Files folder

(5) Restart your computer- boot into Windows as usual

That is a small quote I found from another website. So its fairly easy. Just load up your windows OS disc and follow the instructions.
