Lore:

 

The wind howled as the large men made their way down the mountains to the flatlands. Many days had passed since their village had been destroyed, and much of their family killed by wolves. The wolves had come in the night howling in one voice. Packs of them sprawling across the village showing no mercy for men, women, and children. Many of the villagers including the previous chieftain, Altorus McHarnish, drew arms to protect the village as the rest fled. Only a few survived and made their way down to the flatlands where their kin, the Armas clan, stayed. They arrived and have obtained some land to rebuild their former glory.

 

Caln McHarnish, son of Altorus, claimed the title as chieftain unopposed. As more survivors return, their hearts are lifted each time until a howl shook the flatlands. The family had been ridding of a robber who had been plaguing them for months when they heard it. Each of them had a chill run up their spine remembering a father, mother, or brother who was taken by the wolves' tyranny. Each stood facing towards the hills. This was the moment to avenge those they loved. They unsheathed their weapons and faced the beasts. Shouting a war cry, the charged the beasts hacking left and right.

 

Their ancestors fought within them, and together they diminished the beasts. Caln walked up to the lead wolf and brought his claymore high above his head. He brought it down in an arc removing the wolf's head and ending the tyranny of the wolves. The McHarnish survived and look to restore the prosperity of their clan.

The Alpha Wolf's Fur: The Alpha Wolf's Fur is the skin of the Alpha Wolf which slayed many of the McHarnish clan. It is black as a starless night and stained with the blood of many in the McHarnish clan. It is currently framed in the McHarnish manor as a reminder of those who were lost, and how they overcame it.

 

Wolf Bane: Wolf Bane is a 6 foot long claymore that was used to remove the Alpha Wolf's head. For centuries it has been passed down by Adunian chieftains. It was forged by master smiths in Kal'Urguan with mithril. When wielded it shines with a blue hue that shines in the sun. It is currently in the possession of Caln McHarnish.

 

 

Traits of the McHarnish:

 

The McHarnish clan are pure blooded Adunians. Therefore, they experience long lives, are very tall, and are well muscled. They generally have green or gray eyes and their hair black. It is considered a great wrong doing if one of the clan members were to marry outside of Adunians. They may court Southerners but may never marry one.
