The posters read, Are you interested in adventure and do you want to give back to your home, malinor? If so, join the sentinels, whose primary duty is to serve as the protectors of the citizens of the Holy Princedom of Malinor and their way of life. Comprised entirely of elves, the Sentinels are responsible for not only the protection of their fellow elves, but also extending the influence of the Holy Princedom militarily in Anthos. We have been guarding malinor since Asulon, and our experience is matched by no other guild or organization when it comes to defending malinor. Some General Duties of Sentinels are: 1. Protect the Citizens of Malinor at all times. Do not allow them to come to harm. Then protect fellow Sentinels from harm. Finally do not allow Foreign law abiding visitors to come to harm. 2. Maintain oneself at all times. Equipment should be repaired if damaged, replaced if lost. Training ones abilities for conflict should be done periodically to keep ones skills sharp. Finally one should take care of oneself, making sure to not succumb to sickness or injury. 3. Report all nonstandard occurrences to ones superior. This should continue from subordinate to superior until it reaches the High Council. Issues that can be handled at a lower tier should be done, issues that cannot will be reported to ones superior. Accuracy and details of such reports is important. Sentinels are also exempt from taxes, can live in the barracks or sentinel estates* for free, and will get a set of armour and weapons assigned to them once they have been proved as a capable individual. *Sentinel estates are exclusively on Kalos, and will not be in the new land. "SENTRINALS ARE THE WORST FIGHTERS, NOLADRIM HAVE SHINY WEEPUNS AND ARMORS, WE SHALL CROOSH THE SENTRENILS! VICTORY!!" Supremacy 3361 Share Posted February 14, 2013 Kalenz approaches the notice written by Aislinn and frowns intently. He studies it for about two moments before beginning to mutter to himself. The high elf procures an iron and lustrous pin from his robes and slowly begins to trace words upon the bottom of the note. Red writing seems to slowly form from glowing threads which run down the pin and settle upon the parchment; soon the writing becomes evident. This is unintelligent. Lithimis 3 Share Posted March 4, 2013 Lithimis is sitting at his desk in the Hall of Labor working on the log book for quotas and glances up at the poster on the Sentinel bulletin board nearby. He mumbles to himself as he often does "I wonder how the High Commander would feel about having a Sentinel or two in the Hall on a regular basis attempting to recruit new Initiates. Many see the poster, but having an actual Sentinel here in all the glory and regal of their uniform would surely get them more recruits. How many citizens have they brutalized? Injured beyond repair, how many have they killed, solely to satisfy their need for authority? How often do they "enforce" laws that don't exist? That /shouldn't/ exist? Aislinn my llir, I'm going to disagree with you on this one." Artimec pulls a hood over his head. Thus always with corruption." *Vanir shows a flash of teeth beneath his hood, clacking them together as he rubs his jands back and forth.
