Edict of the Grand Chamberlain

Issued and confirmed by His Imperial Majesty the Holy Emperor of Oren, Godfrey I

At the will of His Imperial Majesty the Holy Emperor Godfrey I, the Grand Chamberlain has the most highest authority within the Crownlands and capital of Oren

At the will of His Imperial Majesty the Holy Emperor Godfrey I, the Grand Chamberlain may change laws of the capital and crownlands at anytime

At the will of His Imperial Majesty the Holy Emperor Godfrey I, by law the Grand Chamberlain can only commanded by his Imperial Majesty or the Lord High Chancellor

 

Section I

Management of Interior

 

I. The Grand Chamberlain has been instructed to govern, oversee health, and maintain authority in the capital and Crownlands

II. The Grand Chamberlain has been instructed to uphold the law in the capital or Crownlands; corresponding with the High Sheriff

III. The Grand Chamberlain has been instructed to overlook all construction and trade within

the Empire of Oren

IV. The Grand Chamberlain has been instructed to overlook charters of any kind published in the Empire of Oren

V. The Grand Chamberlain has been instructed to keep record and overlook progress of agriculture within the capital and Crownlands

VI. The Grand Chamberlain has been instructed to take note of the containments of the Emperor’s storage

VII. The Grand Chamberlain has been instructed to take possession of supplies brought in from foreign governments or guilds

VIII. The Grand Chamberlain has been instructed to pay, supply the goods to, and manage building, construction, and the builders themselves in the Empire of Oren

 

Section II

Management of The Common Man

 

I. The Grand Chamberlain has been instructed to distribute homes to the people within

the capital and Crownlands

II. The Grand Chamberlain has been instructed to distribute food supply to where is necessary in the Empire of Oren

III. The Grand Chamberlain has been instructed to take the High Chancellor’s place in court for minor cases brought to court by the people of the Empire of Oren

 

Section III

Duty within the Emperor’s Council

 

I. . The Grand Chamberlain may take minor cases in court, not take the Lord High Chancellor’s place in major court cases or major decisions

II. The Grand Chamberlain has been instructed to assist the High Chancellor or any other Privy Councilors in the creations of Edicts

III. The Grand Chamberlain has been instructed to take the Emperor’s position in /minor/ cases (Talking to the Common Man)

IV. The Grand Chamberlain has been instructed to assist the High Chancellor in the edicts presented to him

 

Section IV

Management of Exterior

 

I. The Grand Chamberlain has been been instructed to create trade bonds with nation leaders and guilds outside the Empire of Oren

 

Section V

Necessary Powers Announced

 

A. Section I

I. The Grand Chamberlain has been given the power to change the laws of the

capital and Crownlands

II. The Grand Chamberlain is hereby granted authority to banish any person or group from the Capital or Crownlands

III. The Grand Chamberlain has been given the power to raise the local military of the Crownlands to keep order, The Grand Marshal may overrule the Chamberlain in this

IV. The Grand Chamberlain has been given the power to order construction and demolition within the Empire of Oren

V. The Grand Chamberlain has been given the power to deny town charters or any other charters presented to the Grand Chamberlain

VI. The Grand Chamberlain is hereby granted authority to establish settlements within the Empire of Oren, under any Duchy/Dukedom. Duchy’s ruled by Imperial blood are exempt

VII. The Grand Chamberlain is hereby granted authority to close down establishments created in the capital and Crownlands

VIII. The Grand Chamberlain has been given the power to have farms in the capital or Crownlands increased or adjourned to his will

IX. The Grand Chamberlain has been given the power to distribute land in the Crownlands

X. The Grand Chamberlain has been given the power to take possession of the containments of trade delivered to the Empire of Oren

 

B. Section II

I. The Grand Chamberlain has been given the power to sell homes in the

capital and Crownlands

II. The Grand Chamberlain has been given the power to distribute food to the Common Man from the Capital Farms

III. The Grand Chamberlain has been given the power to take the Lord High Chancellor’s place in court for minor cases brought up by the common man

 

C. Section III

I. The Grand Chamberlain has been given the power to take the Lord High Chancellors position in minor decisions

II. The Grand Chamberlain has been given the power to fabricate edicts for other councilors or his own

III. The Grand Chamberlain has been given the power to take the Emperor’s position in minor decisions

IV. The Grand Chamberlain has been given the power to vote against edicts created other than the Lord High Chancellor’s

V. The Grand Chamberlain has been given the power to advise against edicts made
