Just a few questions regarding rules in the wilds.

1. There are many ruins around the wilds. Why are some usable and others not?

2. Since the wilds are "the lawless lands" can I invade and take over a ruin someone is living in without a VA?

3.Could the above scenario be considered a war claim and not an unprovoked attack?

4. Can I start and build my own hold in the wild?

5. If the wilds are lawless can i just do anything? (Except break leaves, we have to do that until decay is turned on)

1. I'm not sure why some ruins/buildings were regioned while others were not. Sorry!

2. Unless something has changed, VA rules still apply. You're able to loot up to 10% (or 25%, I can't remember the exact number, sorry.) of an unlocked chest without a VA, though. Just don't go lugging around a block of iron and 5 furnaces or anything crazy like that.

3. Not sure, someone else might be able to clarify.

4. Yes, but it won't be regioned.

5. Re-read number two, I think I covered everything here. You're free to build, mine, clear trees, etc, as long as you abide by server rules.

Another note on #'s 2 and 3:

Would it be allowed to rp go to war/siege the ruin and push them out of it? (As long as they keep all of their things)

You can loot up to 25% of unlocked chest without a VA. You can grief in MODERATION without a VA.(Leave RP signs if you do) You can build your own settlement in the wilds since it isn't permed. Make sure it's in RP. No, there isn't a warclaim for the wilds. Just contact the owner of the structure before you engage in war. If you're going to chop trees, take down the leaves, as leaving the leaves floating there is landscarring and can get you banned,

Since we've done away with the 'warclaim' system (at least I believe we have), I'm not too sure how you'd go about attempting to take the ruins from whoever currently owns them.

http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/55510-villain-application-rules/ Just remember the evils that are a part of the Villain Application. If it's just you going to attack (and possibly kill) the owner of the ruins, you would need a VA for at least evil "2a".

Maybe you could gather up some ruffians and then threaten whoever is there to leave? Rough 'em up a bit if they don't?

I don't know, I would await a better answer from a  GM/admin. Sorry!
