*A large grey leather sack marked with the symbol of the Legion - Lightning bolt - is found within the personal belongings chest of each Legionnaire, the heavy sack when opened bears a quantity of minas depending on the soldiers rank and looking around one would notice the commander's leather pouches bore the most, on top of the minas a roughly scrawled note lays and bearing dwarvish rune text speaking the following message.*
 
*Translated from the Dwarvish runes:*
"Because of the difficulty in paying each legionnaire for their active service, I've taken it upon myself to pay each legionnaire a decent sum of coin as to recognize this service. Saying this the future of the payment system currently set up is at risk and will be under thorough re construction due to the inability to spread such meager wealth among commanders to pay each soldier.
 
The wages of each soldier rank is followed:
Stoneguard: 50 minas
Ironbreaker: 100 minas
Lieutenant / Longbeard: 150 minas
Immortal: 200 minas
Commander: 250 minas
 
For now if the Kingdom continues to sustain a decent amount of wealth these payments on a yearly basis will continue and although minuscule they are expected to raise in times to come depending on the Kingdom's wealth. So to you dear Legionnaire I am expecting top performance whilst the current system is being revised and if I catch any of you slacking your duty as guards of the gate or defenders of the hold, you will be expecting a lesson that you will wish you will forget.
