Hanrahan 2983 Author Share Posted March 12, 2013 I also heard that Adunians lived to 150-200 max from axl and other adunians leaders themselves, also, I remember when the post about halfbreeds came along, and people were fighting over it. The curse would not be overrulled by the blessing, but the lore masters said they would do something for each and every adusian who lived more than 100. What is the real result of the adunian aging? From what I've determined, the whole aging buisness is a shaky topic, as as noted on other posts and topics, its a shambly mess that no one can follow. I'd suppose, 150-200 years is quite acceptable, but really, in rp, it doesn't matter that much. People don't usually kill off thier characters due to old age, so the effects of old age are thrown out the window. Kastoria is the only place so far, we've been able to live in aside from Vaerhaven, but that's rented land, as is Kastoria. Adunians are nowhere near as obsessed with liniage and blood as high elves, but it is still a concern. An Adunian lord may not wed a Human woman, for fear of Dilution, and it's common practice for all Adunians to marry either other Adunians, or Elves. For whatever reasons, perhaps the ancientness of thier blood, the Curse of Iblees does not overrule the Blessing of Ariel, and they manage to have a much longer lifespan, in some cases living to 400 Years. Snake Plissken 637 Share Posted March 12, 2013 Due to Bueacracy, and a huge amount of mis-understanding ICly about historicle events, it doesn't look like we'll be getting land for a New Ildon anytime soon, which I think is a disasterous shame, as it was a great RP hub. Ive actually spoken to Godfrey IC as Thorenir, and he has said that he's going to speak to the privy council about reinstating Elendil as a greater house and returning our duchy. They were created through the mixing of blood between the ancient elven tribe of Sarai and the ancient human tribe of Harren. Harren were ancient northerners and Sarai were ancient wood elves. IrishPerson 693 Share Posted March 12, 2013 The Pure blooded Adunians, Elendil, Tarus, and Brae have the purest blood, and therefor can live the longest. Any other clans are slightly 'Unpure', and therefor live shorter. Every time an Adunian marries a Human, the blood is Dilutured, and they age quicker, and can't live as long.
