Hi there!

 

I've seen alot of confusion, misconception, and general cluelessness about the Adunian race, which Me, Owl_7, and Axlrose have spent well over a year shaping, and creating. As the most recent Adunian Lord, I feel like I should be out there swinging in the forums! So, ask anything you've wondered about Adunia, Adunians, Ildon, anything!

I would like to ask how many players (roughly) are now playing Adunians? And also the amount of clans, how many are their? O.o

I'd reckon the number of players at, /very/ roughly, about 30? There are Four clans currently, McHarnish, Campbell, Brae (Ancient), and McHaryn.

 

The Majourity of the players are currently in Campbell, with McHarnish below that, then Brae, then McHaryn.

Due to Bueacracy, and a huge amount of mis-understanding ICly about historicle events, it doesn't look like we'll be getting land for a New Ildon anytime soon, which I think is a disasterous shame, as it was a great RP hub.

Adunians are half elves and half humans, right? Does that mean that any half elf and half human is considered Adunian or is it specifically only half high elf and human?

I'm pretty sure they are their own race that are descended from half Elves-half Humans, not just any half Elves.

Clan Campbell are very much based on a mix of the 11th century Scottish Highlander, the 7th Century Gael, and the 17th Century Jacobite Highlanders, if we can look past the whole "Bonnie Prince Charlie" and Culloden thing.

 

Facepaint, Adunian Malt, Claymores, Low Education standard, and that beautiful Accent.

Adunians are a very specific breed of Half elf, /technically/. For whatever reasons, perhaps the ancientness of thier blood, the Curse of Iblees does not overrule the Blessing of Ariel, and they manage to have a much longer lifespan, in some cases living to 400 Years.

 

All Adunians are half Elves. Not all Half elves are Adunian.

Wait, Adunians can live to 400? I thought they lived around 150-200 years?

The Pure blooded Adunians, Elendil, Tarus, and Brae have the purest blood, and therefor can live the longest.

 

Any other clans are slightly 'Unpure', and therefor live shorter. Every time an Adunian marries a Human, the blood is Dilutured, and they age quicker, and can't live as long.

I also heard that Adunians lived to 150-200 max from axl and other adunians leaders themselves, also, I remember when the post about halfbreeds came along, and people were fighting over it. The curse would not be overrulled by the blessing, but the lore masters said they would do something for each and every adusian who lived more than 100. What is the real result of the adunian aging?
