Ideas For Halflings - At The Moment

I feel like Bango's way too vanilla and I've been struggling to get into character. I'm going to drastically overhaul my skin and focus on a few distinctions. Hope no one minds, I've only been around for a few days now, so hopefully it's not a huge disruption. It's hard going from a straight up 200-year-old orc that I played for a year straight to a jolly little farmer.

I don't think anyone will be on your case about it, just do what you think is fit!

As a relatively new player who is thinking about a few alternate character options, halfling would be my first choice.

However, what discourages me from that option is the level of dedication you'd need to be a good halfling. As in, I'd have to get a burrow, know everyone, be the stereotypical halfling. It'd be hard to play as a non-serious permanent (think, beggar or peasent fun character) halfling as oppossed to easier alternate characters.

I wouldn't know how being a halfling could be made less daunting and involved, or whether it should be in the first place. That's just my personal reasons for not being one, which might ahed light on others.

Well, Vanir, you could always just do a little sort of beta test as a Halfling! We have inns where you can stay for as long as you'd like for free. Why not try us out, and then decide once that's over?
