A quiet night, a full moon overhead as Kyral sighs, frowning as she looks upon Malinor with discontent, she admired the ability of the High Council, though she thought them to be cowards in their own right. She didn’t hate them or resent them for their cowardice, for they had tried everything in their power to make their Nation strong, independent and peaceful. The elves had strayed from the past, from the time the Grand High Prince Native was upon the High Council, where peace reigned upon each Mali, whatever afflicted the elves, must have been something long after his resignation.

Kyral sighed, taking her pitch black Violin, looking upon it sadly as she played a tune, one of incredible sadness as she herself began to tear up.

She continue to play the melody, ringing throughout the forests of the elves as she intensified the strength of each note, stressing upon the sadness that the song came from, so many years of physical heartbreak after heartbreak made this song the much more powerful.

What if she never met James?
What would have happened if Garth and her never happened?
And Hamish.. She gave him another chance, and yet he broke her heart. Something already broken and shattered on the floor, to be shattered not once, but twice, into dust.

Kyral let out a small cry as she continued, swaying her head in emotion as the Violin bow played the notes at a higher pitch, slowing herself as she finished, looking up to the stars, her half burned face shining brightly under the moonlit skies as her tears glistened like stars amongst the Chaotic skin of her form. She shook her head, wiping her eyes with her bow hand as she sighed.

She took her pose again, playing a sharp note that rang through the forests, whatever crowd was around her, she didn’t see, in her world, she was alone. There could be no one there, if no one could be trusted, they were all invisible to her. This was her world, of Sadness, heartbreak and Music, Music keeping her company through this imaginary realm of pain as her tears fell like rain.

Kyral once again played a song through her violin, taking the notes as hard as her violin could handle. Rocking her body as she began.

As Kyral begins to play, a broken yet still attemptively cheerful Kyral begins to sing
“Sitting alone in the cold of the night
You're trying to find what you need to survive
You're so afraid
You can't go on”

Kyral looks upwards, chin still resting upon the violin as she played the sad melody, she rocks her body slowly, voice getting louder as she keeps her voice with the sound of the Violin,
“Left in the silence that tears at your heart
They only remind you how broken you are
You've lost your way
But hope is not gone”

Suddenly, Kyral’s voice booms as she sings the most true part of the song, spinning in a circle as she smiles widely, her dress picking up air and twirling slightly,
“'Cause the sun always sets
The moon always falls
It feels like the end
Just pay no mind at all
Keep rolling
Rolling
Life must go on

Do you remember and long for the past?
When love was eternal
And joy seemed to last
Yesterday
Forever is gone

'Cause the sun always sets
The moon always falls
It feels like the end
Just pay no mind at all
Keep rolling
Rolling
Life must go on
It must go on”

As the verse ended, Kyral’s cheerful tone breaks, halting her movements as she played much more slow, the reflection of tone and rhythm seemed to be one of great sorrow, she continued to sing throughout this,
“We have our misfortunes
The darkest of days
We must endure and keep strong
Just look to the morning
The promise awaits
And know that this life must go on

And the sun always sets
The moon always falls
It feels like the end
Just pay no mind at all
Keep rolling
Rolling
Life must go on”

And as she finished, Kyral played once again in a cheerful tone, raising her voice into a boom as she finished,
“And the sun always sets
The moon always falls
It feels like the end
Just pay no mind at all
Keep rolling
Keep rolling
Life must go on
It must go on

Life must go on
Life must go on
When you feel you're awake
So you keep holding on
Keep holding on
We all have our mistakes
Life must go on
Life must go on
So you keep holding on
Keep holding on ”

Kyral pulled the bow and violin away quickly, eyes welling up as she kicked at the dirt, breaking down in sobs as she crumbled to her knees as if hit by a war-hammer, to those around her, it would be apparent that this woman is surely troubled. Standing up again weakly, she grumbled, she knew people were out there, but they were all not worthy of her time. She looked to the docks, to her boat, packed and ready to leave.

Suddenly, she turned, without words, as she walked towards the shore, towards her small boat. She, she was planning on leaving, leaving to a realm of true solitude, of pure loneliness, where the only thing would be her music, her books, and herself. She took her Violin, and with each step she took, a note rang, another painful melody seeping through her sorrow-logged body.

She shook as she played, her half burned face glowing still and with a slightly intense reflection. The melody, like the others were those of sorrow and sadness, keeping her mind and body as quiet as it can, leaving behind tears as she walked.

Kyral didn’t look back, and why should she. She wouldn’t care if anyone tried to stop her,, hell she wouldn’t even react, she would walk past their outline as if something, not someone was in the way.

But suddenly, the melody took a sharp stop, an image forming before her as Hamish, as stated before, a lover of her past formed in front of him as Kyral backed up, looking at him in confusion as she shook her head.

“Kyral!” Hamish yelled loudly, trying to reach her, and he did. Breaking into her realm as Kyral continued to back up, looking at him as dumbstruck as she could.

“H-Hamish? H-How, why? W-Why are you.. where did you come from?” she says, looking around.

Hamish sighs, looking at her worriedly as he says “There are people around you Kyral, do you not see them?” to which Kyral shook her head, “A-all there is, A-All i ever need is my music and my books, everyone else is invisible, they don’t deserve to be in my realm, on-only me”

Hamish raised his head, looking onwards at Kyral as he says “Then why can you see me? Do you think I deserve to be in your realm?” He says, smiling at Kyral, Watching her body language more than her words as she looked at him, smiling a bit.

“I-I still think of you, that much is true, I wanted to live a peaceful life with you, but.. I-I can’t stay, I-I need to go, I need to rest my we-”
Hamish went up to her, hugging her tightly as she wails, crumbling onto him and nuzzling her head against his chest as Hamish tilted her head up, kissing her passionately as Kyral, in shock, kissed him back. The kiss seemed to last a good five minutes, Kyral not wanting it to end as Hamish pulls away from the kiss, hugging her still as he says

“I wont beg or plead for you to stay, you need to go, its for the best, that you go and live out your life the way you want to, I will always think about you, but for now, Kyral, you need to go.” Hamish said with a sad smile, rubbing her head gently as Kyral looked up at him in tears, Hamish kissing her forehead as she smiles, an actual smile for the first time in years as she hugs him tighter.

“I will think about you as well Hamish, I will come back one day, /I swear it/, this world is just too broken for me, and I’m too broken for everyone elses world. This is the only answer, to fix myself in peace and serenity. the Ocean is exactly that. Please, please promise you’ll be here when I come back”

Hamish nods, kissing her cheek gently as he responds "For every day that I breathe, I can spend it waiting." which then caused Kyral to hug Hamish a bit tighter, Kyral nodding, “Then I shall try my best not to keep you waiting, I will be back soon, I promise”

And with that said, Hamish and Kyral pulled apart from each other, Kyral saying “I have t-” to which Hamish said “I know, you need to go on this journey, you need to live a life that is best suited for you. Go on, I’ll be awaiting your return.”

Kyral walked onto her small boat, taking account of all her things and her rations, nodding to Hamish, “You better write!” she says with a giggle, Hamish nodding as Kyral frowned, “I’ll miss you..” Hamish, without words, just nodded back, and pointed to Kyral, smiling. Kyral fully understanding the meaning of his gesture as she began to cry again, using her strength the pull up the anchor.

And within twenty minutes, Kyral had vanished upon the horizon, Hamish standing there as he repeated.

"For every day that I breathe, I can spend it waiting."

Hamish sighs, his legs danging over the side of the dock as he casts his fishing reel, thinking of Kyral.

A few hours later.

Hamish feels a tug on his line, blinking, then furiously reels it up. On the line, is a mouldy boot, filled with Feces.

"...Lovely."

Taera paces back and forth on the balcony of the Salvus castle, watching the night sky. Hours have passed since she sent a dove to try and find Kyral, but so far there has been no response. She continues to pace for an hour more, the moon rising higher in the sky. Eventually a maid grabs her shoulder and she stops pacing. The maid says to her "My lady, you need to sleep sometime..." Taera hangs her head and nods.

Yet another unanswered letter. She steps away from the balcony and walks towards her room. Along the way, she cries a little. Her Father has already moved on and already remarried. Why can't she? Perhaps a good nights rest will help...

She lies awake for a while, beginning to wonder as she does almost every night... is her mother gone forever?

Katrina just stood there behind Hamish, sighing as she placed her hands behind her back, "Now she is gone..." before turning around and walking off, a single tear dripping onto the dock as she begins to speed up her pace.
