In-Character Information:

Complete the following biography on your character:

Full Name:Jorik

Current Age: 22

Sub-race (if any): Dwarf-Mountain Dwarf

Clan (if any): N/A

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): As a child Jorik grew up in a small village on the outskirts of Asulon. His village was raided by bandits at the age of 10. Jorik had his first kill trying to defend his parents from the onslaught of marauders. He later after fleeing from the village grew up with his aunt and had a nice childhood on the cliffs of one of the great mountains of Asulon. Mostly gathering resources (primarily wood) for what family he had left.

At the age of 20 Jorik went to military academy and dreamed of one day fighting the injustice that murdered his parents. After graduating the academy at a very young age he ventured to the new lands in hopes to find the great dwarven kingdom to sign up for the legion. He was attacked many times along the way so his experience from the academy and his newly found experience in the wilderness will hopefully help him greatly in his quest to join the legion.

Jorik met many travelers in his journey and in doing so gained some good relations with some of the elf folk. Countering that however he has developed a hatred towards orcs because of the barbaric deeds he saw done on the roads. He finally arrived at his destination year after he set out. He is still a young dwarf, but has potential to be a great warrior.

Ambitions for the Future: Explore the new lands and sign up for the legion. Perhaps be a craftsman when he is not serving.

Personality: Ambitious, some-what naive, outgoing, and not afraid to charge into battle whatever the cost.

Skills: He knows how to wield an axe thanks to his childhood helping get wood for his house. He is strong and can learn strength skills with determination.

Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):

index.php

Any other details you wish to share about your character: Regardless of Jorik’s naive personality,he is a determined soldier and adventurer.

Open-Response-Questions

Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.

____

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?

Answer: Diamond isn’t no common resource, whatever the results diamond is almost always good. I would bound across the bridge at full speed to be swifter than if it were to collapse. If the bridge did result in a fall then I would do what dwarves normally don’t ever want to resort to; O would leap as far and high as i could hopefully making it, but heck you only get one shot at life. Diamond can pay for whatever wounds I get so i will be all fine and dandy.

2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of ale in your hand - sitting nearby you isa rather young dwarf whom is clearly going through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are sitting whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his handand begin to approach the young dwarf. What do you do?

Answer: The poor lad would have only just begun his life if the figures were there to kill him then i would make sure to get myself between the young lad and the shady fellows as quickly as possible. If they were to turn on me im sure the other fine lads in the bar would back me up. Life is to precious to let slip away. This all the more evident in the younglings.

3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?

Answer: A good old ale can never be turned down! I would march right over there and drink up. Heck if the drink were poisoned that dwarf would never forgive himself and anyway all it would do is strengthen the old gullet. Thanking the nice man I would leave and tell of the tale to those around, as an example of dwarven kindness! Brother to brother we never let each other down!

Your application has been...

DeniedApplication3V2.png

Hello! After reading through your application I've decided to deny it for the following reasons:

  • Villages being raided by bandits is overly cliché. I'm sure you can think of something original!

  • You have not included dialogue in your application. Please do so, we want to see your roleplay skills!

Overall, I think you'll get your application accepted next time!

Please re-apply in 24 hours from this post or face instant denial. If you have any questions, feel free to pop me a PM!
