Trade-Edict #1: General Stores Are To Be Taxed

*A rather large scroll is nailed neatly onto every single noticeboard within Kal'Azgoth and rather snidely onto every single general store*

I, Grand Merchant Dun Irongut, hereby authorize an Elven monthly permit to be issued to all owners of general stores. If such a permit is not purchased and no attempt at contact has been made by the store owner, the shop will be closed without further notice and in time, revoked by the nation. The permit issued shall cost 100 minas and will be distributed within a bound book. Permit purchase will be recorded, but you will be issued written documentation, as stated. Such a permit purchase is not necessary if your store fits into any of these categories:

  • Architecture & Materials
  • Food/Bakery
  • Fish Stall
  • Tools
  • Blacksmithy or Equipment
  • Gems & Ores
  • Ale/Brewery
  • Fletcher/Bow Production
  • Apothecary
  • Carpentry
  • Other (Please check with the Grand Merchant if you are not certain).

This trade-edict shall go into effect immediately. Please contact the Merchant's Guild and from there, The Grand Merchant to purchase a permit. Do so immediately to prevent any confusion or closure of your shops.

Dun Irongut

Grand Merchant of Kal'Azgoth and the Kingdom of Urguan

*A moderately sized red wax seal adorned with redstone dust is latched on to the bottom of the scroll, bearing the official markings of the Kingdom of Urguan*
