Character Sub-race: Kha'Cheetrah



Character appearance (Including age and gender):

Nabo is a 22 year old, male Kha Cheetrah. His body is full with lean muscle, making him slender but strong, Nabo has abnormally large whiskers along with light hunter green eyes.

What is the personality of your character like?:

S'Nabo is very patient, being a hunter/gatherer, Nabo has learned to calm himself in times of action and stress. Nabo has a shy, but bubbly personality, once he has opened up he seems very funny and outgoing.

Brief Biography of this character’s life thus far (taking into account the rules against creating a character born outside of the empire): Nabo was born to a family of Ko's, from by the time he was 12 his parents thought it was time Nabo learned the family trade. Nabo half- pay attention to the lessons in selling, having little interest in pursuing a merchants life. So while on his free time, Nabo would sneak out with his fathers blade and head into the woods to try to teach himself combat. One day while Nabo was whacking at vines in the wood, a Do' spotted him and went to investigate. The two talked for a little, during the conversation the Do' taught Nabo' a few moves on how to use a blade, in case Nabo would encounter some of the many dangerous animals in the Khakaturian Jungle. When Nabo reached the age of 15, having matured his parents, set him to collect for the family now that his mother was frail and couldn't be pestered to gather the wares for their many shops. Nabo took this task and enjoyed his time gathering local berries and hunting local Rihka and other animals with his spear, never leaving without his fathers blade. This is how Nabo continues to live, supporting now only himself as his parents have ascended to join Metzli in the skies.

Character’s ambitions within the Kharajyr:

As Nabo grows older, he seeks to stray from his gathering and hunting, even though it has brought many joys and fun, Nabo wants to accomplish something he feels is prideful for himself and his family, to join the guard and fight for the Tla'



Character’s strengths/weaknesses:

Nabo is very agile and has a good amount of strength, along with mild tracking skills Nabo over the years has become quite crafty with a blade making a few new moves for himself. What Nabo flaws at is mostly his mind, he is very shy and usually won't confront someone if he dislikes something they have said or did, Nabo has bad reflexes, causing a few injuries he could have avoided.

Situational Roleplay Questions

1. You are heading home from a successful hunting trip when a group of three heavily armoured humans jump out from behind a tree and start demanding the surrender of your catch over to them. Each man has a sword drawn and they are gradually pacing towards you...



How does your character react?



Nabo: *sets down the fish, before secretly laying his hand on the hilt of the blade.

Men: "Good! Ye little Kitteh!, *graps fish "We'll be takin' these!"

Nabo: *angered by the comment of being called a Kitty says "Nuw yu bettaw back awf yu apes!"

Men: "Oi! what did this kitty say, *points sword at Nabo "You better shut yer mouth before I make it…."

Nabo: *remains silent, he unsheathes his fathers sword and cal my says "Gib Nabo his fish baawk awnd yu awps dun't gat hawt"

Men: *laugh "You stupid kitten think you can take us? Go back to the pit you came from!" *spits at Nabo

Nabo: *swipes at one of the men's legs "Nabo taald yu awpes, Naw leaawv!"

Men: *having been bluffing the whole time, run off, hurtling the catch on their backs

Nabo: *sprints after them, hacking at the top of the sack where his catch was.

Sack of food: *is torn and falls to the ground spilling its content over the ground

Men: *turn back "Dammit! Somebody grab the food!"

Nabo: *steps in front of the bag, pointing his blade at any of the men who come close "thaws iss Nabo's fawd! Leaawv stuwped Awpes!"

Men: Run off in a hurry, looking to find there ship back to the main island.

Nabo: *gathers his food back up from the ground, shaking the dirty ones off a little, before placing them into his spare pouch.





2. You arrive at the temple of Metztli only to see one of your closest friends stealing the sacred blue gems from the altar, a most unholy act for a Kharajyr.



How does your character react?

Nabo: *obverses the act and runs to fetch a guard as he feels his friend is to strong to fight alone

Kha: *Hears chul's movement, knowing he can't be caught he runs after Nabo screaming "Nabo cawm bawk!"

Nabo: *presses on running like a dead bolt to find a patrolling Do'

"Hawlp! Sawm ones steawling Metzli's gewlz!"

Kha: *catches up to Nabo, bringing his axe down into Nabos leg.

Nabo: *screams in agony, knowing he won't be able to find a Do' to help him, chul decides to stay and fight against the Kha, knowing its his best chance. *Nabo brings his blade out and, stabs it into the Kha's chest.

Kha: *screams out, then hurls a rock from the ground at Nabo

Nabo: *spits blood out as the rock hits his face, then throws a driving punch at the Kha's skull.

Kha: is knocked unconscious, and falls to the floor stiff

Nabo: *leaves the kha be, allowing the Do' to find him the next day and arrest him for stealing the jewels, since he still has them inside his pocket.



3. You are in the Cloud Temple when a stout, angry little dwarf begins yelling highly racist terms towards you at the top of his lungs. Although unarmed, the dwarf continues to yell after he makes eye contact with you.



How does your character react?

Nabo: *eyeballs the dwarf, with a slight anger he says "shawt iwt, pink snout"

Dwarf: "Nu! ye fecker can gu lick herself wit yer demon mudder!"

Nabo: *gazes around to see if any one else is hearing this nonsense "Pink snout! Yu maws stawp or Nabo hurwt yu!"

Dwarf: *continues his terms, and angrily slams his fist to the ground

Nabo: *growls at the dwarf "Pink snout leaawv! Nabo wawl hurwt yu!"

Dwarf: *backs of a bit "Laddeh! *raises his fists at Noba "You wanna ta' go!?"

Nabo: *roars at the dwarf, hoping to scare him off

Dwarf: *instead of being scared gets filled with a hasty rage and kicks at Nabo's knee

Nabo: *sways a bit then falls down to his knees, out of rage he clutches his teeth down onto the dwarfs arm

Dwarf: *screams and whines, before backing away from Nabo and rubbing his arms

Nabo: *angered, hastily says "Pink nose, stawp yuwr cawments! Awr Nabo eawt yu!"

Dwarf: *Nods, too scared to talk.

Nabo: *leaves the temple, heading back to Kha lands.

4. Fire has broken out over the jungle city and you can hear the screaming of two Kha’ nearby. As you go investigate, you notice that one of your friends and the Tlatlanni’s white-furred child have gotten themselves trapped in opposite ends of a burning building. The roof creaks above you, if you were to get involved, you would only have time to save one before the building collapsed.



How does your character react?

Nabo: *gazes at the two and quickly thinks of what he can do, he yells to them "Hawld on! Nabo iws cawming!"

Nabo: *goes to the child, her being nobility and younger he believes her safe-being is more important and rushes to her, showing a route to escape "Cuwm wit me cub!"

Cub: *follows Nabo, making it out of the fires range, before she can say thank you…

Nabo: *rushes back to grab his friend, he spots him in a corner backing up as the blaze reaches closer and closer.

Nabo: "Per'ta Nabo wawl save yu!" *Nabo dives in to grab his friend, even though Nabo knew he would not be able to save his friend, Nabo thought it was better to die trying then to never at all.

Nabo: *fur and skin set ablaze, he whines intensely at the pain alongside his friend, as the blaze slowly chars his body, Nabo closes his eyes for the last time with a smile on his face, glad he didn't give up on his friend and glad he had done something right.
