Metztli was angry at one of old Kharajyr emperors because he refused to bow before Metztli. She decided force a nearby volcano to erupt. The Kha were forced to flee their homes.

Sa’Raak is a average heighted Kha’ Cheetrah. The male has large fangs and wide, short claws. He is at the age of 38. His yellow fur is accented with a light blue loin cloth. He has a slightly crooked back. His fangs extend out of his wide mouth. 

What is the personality of your character like?:

Sa’Raak is like most other Kha. He is mostly quiet, loves to hunt and most of all, pray to Metztli. His favorite activity is to create complex platters of food. Sa’Raak loves to watch the plants grow, the flowers bloom and the trees sprout. Sa’Raak has a kind heart, he loves most Kha and he cherishes all the time he has with them.

Brief Biography of this character’s life thus far (taking into account the rules against creating a character born outside of the empire):

        Born and raised on a sugar farm. He grew up with his two parents. His young days were spent like any other Kha. His days were spent hunting, praying to Metztli, and farming his parents sugar crops. As his years went on he found his one true love, cuisine. Using what was produced in his parents farm he started to create strange concoctions of different herbs, meats, sugars, and fruit. Soon finding out that his mixtures were desirable he continued to brew them, make adjustments every time.

 

        Sa’Raak now lives with only the wildlife in the nearby jungles of his home. He continues to prepare unique foods of what he can scavenge.

Character’s ambitions within the Kharajyr:

Sa’Raak wishes to continue his hobby of making delicious dishes. He also wishes to soon obtain a house and wife. Sa’Raak targets to have kittens of his own. But his main priority now is his cooking.

Character’s strengths/weaknesses:[/b]

One of Sa’Raak’s strengths is his instinct to know if a food has potential to be created into one of his concoctions. He attains this sense by using his sense of smell, taste and touch.

Another one of Sa’Raak’s strengths is his natural body shape.  His structure is sleek and light. He is quick on his feet and his senses are well developed.

Sa’Raak’s final strength is his fangs and claws. Having long thin teeth and wide thick claws he has the potential to kill. Although not being a skilled fighter, he could take down an unarmed human quickly; using his claws and fangs.

 

Sa’Raak’s first weakness is his nimble body. Being not the strongest of Kha he can only take a small amount of pain before submitting. Also having a slim bone structure he is prone to breaks.

Another one of Sa’Raak weaknesses is his awful knowledge of how to use any kind of weapon. If having to use on in a battle he would surely lose. Seeing that he grew up not around many weapons he would rather stick to his natural weapons.

Sa’Raak’s last weakness his his poor social skills. Being isolated from most contact with other beings, (Other than large rituals.) caused him to be very quiet around most other Kha. It is hard for Sa’Raak to make friends or any other sort of ally. If Sa’Raak were in a high risk debate it would surely be the end of him.

[b]Situational Roleplay Questions
1. You are heading home from a successful hunting trip when a group of three heavily armoured humans jump out from behind a tree and start demanding the surrender of your catch over to them. Each man has a sword drawn and they are gradually pacing towards you...

How does your character react?

Seeing the armed humans he would quickly step back, after hearing their demands Sa’Raak would reach into the bag that he holds. “Sa’Raak ssssurrennderr hesss’ fooood.”  he would grab a decently sized hunk of meat and quickly throw it high into the air; seeing that the humans are distracted he would dash off into the nearby vegetation. Soon losing the humans he would continue back on his business.


2. You arrive at the temple of Metztli only to see one of your closest friends stealing the sacred blue gems from the altar, a most unholy act for a Kharajyr.

How does your character react?

Sa’Raak would sneak up behind his friend. As Raak approaches him he would place his hand on the thief. “Sa’Raak wwundersss whhy?” he would then try to pull his shoulder back and force him to the ground. Using his wait to topple his friend to the ground he would climb on top of him, extending his index finger to his friend.  “Metztliiii comee firssst.” he would whisper before calling for the authorities. After his friend being taken away Sa’Raak would shortly feel sad, losing one of his only friends, although knowing that Metztli comes before himself.


3. You are in the Cloud Temple when a stout, angry little dwarf begins yelling highly racist terms towards you at the top of his lungs. Although unarmed, the dwarf continues to yell after he makes eye contact with you.

How does your character react?

Sa’Raak would try to keep his calm. Act as if the dwarf wasn't even there. Seeing that the dwarf’s comments have escalated he would shoot the short man a look. Seeing this to no help he would start to approach the dwarf, still keeping his calm. After reaching the dwarf he would try to reason with him by saying... “Sa’Raak isss sssaad thhat you sssay ttttheese t’ings. Doesss you nut lieek mee?” after having no response from the dwarf he would open his mouth again. “Sa’Raak cann nutt makee u’sa likeee meee.... But mee trry.” Sa’Raak would then turn around; seeing his words be no help he would simply walk out of the temple as the dwarf continues to insult him and his race.

 

4. Fire has broken out over the jungle city and you can hear the screaming of two Kha’ nearby. As you go investigate, you notice that one of your friends and the Tlatlanni’s white-furred child have gotten themselves trapped in opposite ends of a burning building. The roof creaks above you, if you were to get involved, you would only have time to save one before the building collapsed.

How does your character react?

Sa’Raak would stand in shock. Soon regaining his senses he would dash into the building. Seeing the two he would turn to both of them. Figuring out that he can only save one he would dash towards the Tlatlanni’s child knowing Metztli would most likely be displeased if he were to save his friend. After avoiding the fallen structures and burning fire. Quickly after he would reach the white-furred kitten, quickly snatching him up he would dart for the entrance. Seeing his friend he would give him one final look. Now outside of the building he would see it collapses down. Crushing one of his only friends. Setting the kitten down he would dash off into the jungle where he would spend his time praying to Metztli in seclusion.
