IC Information

RP Name (This includes your character’s prefix): S'Tarkin

Character Sub-race: Kha'Leparda

Character appearance (Including age and gender): S'Tarkin is a kitten that looks like his mother, Ka'Vafeera, with fluffy yellow fur and black spots with a white face. He has his father's yellow eyes.

What is the personality of your character like?: S'Tarkin is generally gregarious and will enjoy engaging in conversation with any Kharajyr due to his natural curiosity acquired from his father at birth. He will have a very calculating mind and will often plan ahead with the future in mind. S'Tarkin greatly enjoys music hopes to learn how to play the flute which he finds fascinating and beautiful to listen to. Like his parents, he sees combat and conflict as something that should be avoided if possible should a peaceful solution be available. He will enjoy hunting greatly as it allows him to put his calculating mind into practice.

Brief Biography of this character’s life thus far (taking into account the rules against creating a character born outside of the empire): S'Tarkin is one of several to have been born of Ka'Vafeera and Ko'Dato's litter. His mother, a dominating presence in the household, was often the authority figure and was the one S'Tarkin wished to avoid displeasing the most. His father is generally a more gentle figure - one whom S'Tarkin looks up to as a role-model. As he grows up, both his parents will be a great influence on the Kharajyr he develops into.

Character’s ambitions within the Kharajyr:
S'Tarkin's ambition is to become a member of the Ja'Tajuda like his father, Ko'Dato. Growing up in household of a priest of Metztli has caused him to take an interest in theology and the faith of the Kharajyr. He is a very ambitious Kha who endeavors to excel and one day perhaps lead the Ja'Tajuda as the Ju'.

Character’s strengths/weaknesses:
S'Tarkin's greatest strength is probably his calculating mind. He rarely does something without considered the pros and cons of his actions and the impact of them upon others and himself.

His greatest weakness is arguable his abhorrence of violence which he gets from his parents - even in situations that would call undoubtedly call for it. He fears some will see his peaceful attitude as cowardice or fear. Perhaps the only thing that would make him angry would be those in his family being harmed or people who disrespect Metztli and do unholy actions.

Please provide a screenshot or 3D render of your character’s skin:
Freema said to say that the skins were almost done.

Situational Roleplay Questions
1. You are heading home from a successful hunting trip when a group of three heavily armoured humans jump out from behind a tree and start demanding the surrender of your catch over to them. Each man has a sword drawn and they are gradually pacing towards you...

How does your character react?
S'Tarkin backs slowly away from the approaching men to try to buy himself some time to fully evaluate the situation and assess his chances of survival. He looks around first for avenues of escape - fighting these apes would probably lead to his catch being damaged in some way. Seeing one he begins to back up away from the men in the direction. One of the humans sees what he's attempting to do and moves to intercept and block S'Tarkin's escape route. He realizes that the only way he would be able to escape now would be to abandon the larger animals of his catch and use his speed on all four legs to get around the human to safety. He reluctantly drops his larger catch and puts the rope binding the smaller catches in his mouth. S'Tarken then drops onto his four legs and makes a dash to escape. He evades the intercepting human and runs away from the group with all the speed he could muster.

2. You arrive at the temple of Metztli only to see one of your closest friends stealing the sacred blue gems from the altar, a most unholy act for a Kharajyr.

How does your character react?
S'Tarkin is entering the temple when he sees a most odd sight. He ducks behind a tree and watches one of his closest friends stealing sacred blue gems from the altar of Meztli. Growing up in the household of one of the Ja'Tajuda, S'Tarkin is highly upset and angered by the actions of his friend. He would immediately sprint to tell his father, Ko'Dato or any other member of the Ja'Tajuda he can find. Upon informing them and assuming they didn't give him orders from there, S'Tarkin would go to find and stop his friend now enemy.

Upon finding him S'Tarkin demands that the Kharajyr stop what he was doing before he further angered Metztli with his actions. Before their argument ends though other Kharajyr show up with some of the Ju' and reclaim the blue gems. His friend was surely going to be sacrificed and S'Tarkin had little remorse for his friend's actions were blasphemous. As his friend is led away by other Kha S'Tarkin could not help but grin slightly knowing his plans to stall his friend whilst the others arrived had been successful.

3. You are in the Cloud Temple when a stout, angry little dwarf begins yelling highly racist terms towards you at the top of his lungs. Although unarmed, the dwarf continues to yell after he makes eye contact with you.

How does your character react?
S'Tarkin cares little for what an ape thinks of him. The dwarf is not one of Metztli's chosen and therefore does not warrant the wasting of S'Tarkin's time to tell it why it is wrong. S'Tarkin goes about his business, ignoring the dwarf whom from the volume of its voice was obviously following S'Tarkin. His business at the Cloud Temple being finished, S'Tarkin simply walks away from the dwarf knowing his stride was longer and should the dwarf pursue at a sprint he could always outrun it. Dwarves - such angry little creatures - were not worth S'Tarkin's time.

4. Fire has broken out over the jungle city and you can hear the screaming of two Kha’ nearby. As you go investigate, you notice that one of your friends and the Tlatlanni’s white-furred child have gotten themselves trapped in opposite ends of a burning building. The roof creaks above you, if you were to get involved, you would only have time to save one before the building collapsed.

How does your character react?
S'Tarkin immediately evaluates the situation and quickly calculates which of the trapped individuals he had a better chance of saving. In his mind it was better to be able to save one than none at all. Figuring that his chances for success were about the same for either one he begins looking for a way into the building to rescue the Tlatlanni's child. Using all the strength S'Tarkin can muster he manages to pull the Tlatlanni's child out of the burning building just as the roof collapses. Content the child is safe he turns and has a moment of sorrow and grief . He finds comfort in the fact that his friend is now with Metztli and is one of the honored dead.
