The Brewery sputters and wails, the distiller seeing no break as the day went on. Richard had just finished the second batch of ale that day and much more was going to be needed. With only a few more weeks until the competition they would need a whole lot more than 4 kegs to knock a Hobbit out from drinking. Posters plaster the notice boards all over Anthos all bearing the same advertisement from the small town of Lenfarthing. It is clear even from a distance that there is some sort of contest because the people seem to be fighting over who will win.

 

The Halfling Drinking Contest!

Come one come all, the tiny village of Lenfarthing

Invites everyone to come and not only sample their 

fine drinks but see who can drink the most of it!

Bring your own tankard and your sober self and see

if you can be the last drinker standing! Food will

be served and the ale will be free provided you

bring your own tankard.

 

Winners will receive bragging rights and a whole

keg of ale courtesy of the Hobbits

Hugo rushes by the poster in Lenfarthing. Smiling, he shouts loudly.

 

"I'll be there, I will!"
