What previous experience have you had in role-playing?: I have been role-playing since 2009, on multiple servers, which are on Multi Theft Auto, a Grand Theft Auto San Andreas multiplayer modification. My characters ranged from police officer to criminal, however, I've never role-played a medieval character.

Full Name: Thifir Tadadur
Current Age: 90
Sub-race (if any): N/A
Clan (if any): N/A
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Thifir was born in a small village just outside Anthos, it wasn't meant for him to be born, so his father didn't accept him as a member of the family, forcing him to work from an early age. His father had the heart, however, to train him, so that he could at least use an axe. The training was cruel, but successful at most.

 

As he grew up, he understood why his father had not wanted him, as a child, but that soon changed. His father saw something in his son - something he hadn't seen in a long time. At the age of 50, Thifir left the home he had grown up in, for adventure. He is seeking adventure to this day.

Ambitions for the Future: He wants to be rich and famous, among his race.
Personality: He's just like most of the dwarves. He keeps his word on anything, no matter how unpleasurable it seemed for him. He is a dwarf willing to learn almost anything, if it piques his interest.
Skills: He masters the axe, skill that he learnt from his father. Lumberjacking really isn't his thing, though.

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?

Answer: *Thifir jerks his head from side to side, supposedly trying to find another way to the diamond ore.

Thifir Tadadur: No otha' way, it seems, ey'...

*Thifir glances at the damond ore, making an unimpressed face, then shrugging, immediately after.

*Thifir glares down at the thin rock bridge and sighs loudly, as he backs off a bit.

*Thifir then kicks his feet into motion, pushing his body forward, as he jumps, in order to get over the thin bridge.

2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather young dwarf whom is clearly going through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are sitting whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to approach the young dwarf. What do you do?

Answer: *Thifir grabs a hold of his ale pint, stretching his hand, as he raises it up to his mouth, taking a mouthful, then swallowing it.

*Thifir drops the pint of ale on the table, then drops his palms near his calfs, pushing himself up, walking over to the two dwarves.

Thifir Tadadur: 'Ay ye' two. Ye' see, that dwarf over there ain't having that good of a day, ey'.

*Thifir points to the lonely dwarf, which is crying.

Thifir Tadadur: Will ye' leave him alone, he obviously doesn't want any trouble. Do that for me, will ye'?

3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?

Answer: *Thifir eyes the heavily bearded man, whilst grinning, and examining the mug in his hand.

*Thifir proceeds to walking towards the bearded man, sending an upward nod toward him.

Thifir Tadadur: Not my time of the day, ehehehe. Thanks for the offer, though, ey'.

*Thifir turns around, raising his right hand up, as he salutes, then rests it down near his body, walking away.

Your power-emoting definition was incorrect. This definition can be found here. Please don't plagiarize, put it into your own words when you redefine it.

 

A few things about your bio. For one, it contains little server lore other than the mention of Anthos. It would be nice to see a little bit more there. Also, we've only been in Anthos for under a decade. Your character would have been born in Asulon, the previous world. The biggest thing, though, is to expand on your bio. This is how we get to gauge your character. I'd suggest steering clear of cliches whilst expanding your bio.

 

Not critical, but I'd advise getting a more original skin. I believe that skin is somewhat widely used, as I believe I've seen it before. You don't have to, but if you'd like, I'm sure you could go to the skin subforum here to get a more original, custom-made skin.

 

Lastly, your ORQ's need to be a bit longer, and it is preferred if they are written in paragraph format rather than a string of emotes and dialogue. I'd suggest looking at some of the accepted applications to see how we prefer the ORQ's be modeled, but do not copy from other apps. Not that I think you would, but I just want to make it exceedingly clear. I did like the content of your ORQ's, however, especially your second one. Just expand on them and change the format.

 

Overall, not a bad app. Mostly, you need to expand on what you have.
