The Odd Chandalier

Recommended Posts

Halflings go about their buisness like any other day. Night arrives, and they veture back to their burrows, and sleep. They awaken to a bustle of halflings standing around the Lumpy Pumpkin. A wooden chandalier has been hung from a recently carved post above the Pumpkin. The citizens wander and wonder about how it got there, and what it's purpose is.

Posco Bramble walks up to the crowd of people in front of the Lumpy Pumpkin, and notices the wooden chandelier.

"Wha' an ugly cons'ruction"

Posco Bramble then makes his way to the front of the crowd and gets a better look at it, squinting at it he says:

" 'Ho would build his? Some extrava'an' vandals?"

He quickly forgets about the chandelier completely, as he walks into the inn and begins to drink some ale.

Many people gathered around to see the chandalier, it's ugly wooden frame rattling in the wind, Bolo decided he had had enough of the ugly thing and snagged a torch from the tavern. Carefully he took the torch up the hill to where the chandalier was being held up by a single rope and shouted,

"Be gone retched thing!"

Bolo takes the torch and puts it to the rope, the chandalier falling to the ground and smashing into millions of shards of wood, glass, and rope. The crowd cheers as the Halflings gather around to clean the mess of the ridded chandalier.

Richard mumbles as the other Halflings and himself clean the mess. He pushes away some glass and rope to find two odd  books. He yells out

"EH- BOLO- These books always on the groun'?"

Bolo mumbles and walks over, grabbing as book and reading through

"Nay"

As the two read the book, they find more than enough ripped pages and some odd ideas of Man-Frog... Ya, we think it's weird too...
