Zarsies 6795 Share Posted May 2, 2013 Laying within the massive cathedral of Abresi, lays a crown. A lone crown, rather simple, laced with golden engravings. Blood lay splattered over the pew, drops trickled over the crown's gem, not enough to validate death but indeed a possible tussle. The mixture of the gleaming gold and blood mix to a lovely shine, it resembling... an apple, oddly enough. Tis' that of the Imperial Princess Sophia Horen. She is nowhere near, the church lay hallowed in deathly silence, an ominous and guise taken over its interior. ~~~ Under the crown lays an insignia, a small marker, known to very few, but of colossal reputation, infamy, and blood in its name. ~~~ ~~~ Next to the insidiously inscribed emblem, lies a small claw mark. A nail, no doubt; sharp and slender, its gash having left a sizable 'S', in proportion with the crown and sign. Drazker 307 Share Posted May 2, 2013 After being informed of the event by the Lord High Sheriff, Vectis did a quick search around the Kingdom of Salvus with a few peasant volunteers and his friend, Jeremiah de Valletta. With no sign of Sprat or the Imperial Princess, Vectis rode towards the capital with haste. Upon arriving, he stabled his horse and proceeded to the cathedral. There he inspected the scene, searching for any additional clues. Observing the crown, he identifies the marks and verifies the connection Kais made back in Salvus between Sprat's murders at the gate and this. FalconByte 156 Share Posted May 2, 2013 *After reading of papers of different said sightings Arhadir is lead to a dead end and has very little to got on, he calls his squire* "Squire, any more new of the kidnapping of Sophia " to which the Squire replies "Sorry Ser, Vecits and I have looked through most of the kingdom and all we found was a bit of information in the capital with her crown and an apple" Arhadirs eyes wide hearing this "I must go now and and have a look myself, make sure that no one enters the area so that I may look for clues" Arhadir gets up from his his desk and heads to the Capitals church. A notice is pinned up in the Chapter of the Lions keep and it reads "All knights are to make random check on anyone the deem suspicious and question them about the kidnap of Sophia. Mistah Kais, as I understand it, being the one who spread it around, shoulda made an RP post up on here. :P)) The Imperial Crown Princess sits by the window of the Dragon's Tower, looking out towards the Festival grounds. She rotates Sophia's tiara in her hands, tears filling her eyes once more as she doubles over in her seat, beginning to pray. The Knights had brought the tiara to the Imperial Palace along with the news of her having gone missing, and Ari was the first to receive it. When they first informed her, she made her wishes very clear: "Find Sophia, in whatever condition she is. Look in every fort, every house, every keep, every castle, every nook and cranny of Oren, then check Malinor and the Orc Lands. I want whoever did this brought to my Husband alive." She'd barely been able to keep her composure long enough to deliver those orders. She suddenly rose from her seat, placing the tiara in a small velvet-lined box, for either Sophia's return...or her funeral. She then departed the palace, excusing the guards who tried to follow her with a wave of her hand. She walked swiftly to the Church, which sat empty with any and all clues to be gleaned from the scene already discovered. She sat in the back pews, bowing her head and listening for any signs of movement; Perhaps whoever had taken her would come to request a ransom or negotiation for her safe return...That is, at least what Ari hoped for. Timmeh! 154 Share Posted May 3, 2013 Rose walks into Ari's room, not really knowing of why the crown was not brought too her, but she takes it, studying over it and holding it close to herself. A few tears fall from her eyes as she begins to leave the room, back towards her own room her eyes never leaving the crown. As she arrives into her room she sets down the crown and moves to grab her cloak, quickly throwing it on herself. She pulls the hood up, grabbing the crown and placing it into her bag; she grabs her walking stick and heads out. She soon finds Kais and Ser Hrak, whom begin to help her in her search for Sophia.
