~Rebuilding the Geminine family~ 

 

*Hundreds of folded papers are scattered across Oren, carried by small brown birds that drop them in front of any groups of people they may find. Upon closer inspection, the top of the letter contains the long unseen Geminine house emblem. Anyone familiar with the emblem would notice slight differences. 

 

 

 

 

 

Below the emblem, the words ‘Seeking all members of the Geminine House’ are inscribed in fine print, after unfolding the paper, the reader would find a letter...* 

 

 

 

“I, Megan Geminine, am seeing out any members of the once prestigious Geminine house. Many have disappeared and I have only been able to find one other. I am attempting to rebuild this family and hopefully return it to its former greatness.

 

We will be acquiring a manor somewhere in Oren, we hope to reunite any family that is not currently married into another house.

 

If you are, or know of any members of the house, please send the bird back with a note ((reply on this thread or PM me on the forums))”

Brief biography- 

 

Eve was born in Asulon, her parents were unmarried. Her mother left her to take the life of an assassin and died a couple of years after this. She left her with a note ((will be PMed to anyone playing the character)), her father Taron brought her up, she lived a comfortable life. ((Your choice as to how she left him, happily or sadly. The father is currently away, but will be returning, perhaps some reunion RP would be nice here)) 

 

  

 

Lily Geminine

Brief biography- 

 

Growing up with loving parents, Lily lived with her two older brothers- both were fiercely protective over her. Her brothers soon left home, and she is the last one still living with her parents. Although she is young, she is eager to leave the house, and would if the opportunity arose. 

 

 

 

 

 

Amelia Geminine 

Parents-Alianor Geminine and Kaitlyn Geminine

Brief biography- 

 

Amelia has grown up with missing parents. When she was 6 years old, Rio- her uncle on mother's side- took her on the ship to Anthos. Alianor and Kaitlyn haven't been seen by Amelia ever since. It wasn't that harsh on Amelia, after all she was only six. From then on, Rio raised her in a multi-race village. Amelia soon became used to having so many different people around, when she moved back to Oren, she felt really uncomfortable. She was a noble in blood- yes, but she didn't feel like one. Amelia is always curious, because of the mystery of her parentage, and lighthearted. Now, Amelia has a hard time fitting into the noble community, and is looking for a job.

House lore- 

Not much is known about the early times of the Geminine family. Our history is started at the three brothers known as William Geminine, Simon Geminine and Aliestor Geminine. Simon Geminine had decided to wed Muriel Geminine, and in order to carry his bloodline, he had children, three brothers to be exact. Simon was not a very good man, many would say he was a bit worthless... but nonetheless he continued the tree. 

 

Geminine house rose as a very small house in Ildon, much of the family hearing they had a bit of a standing there, doing odd bannerman jobs and growing as a house under liege of house Elendil, a lot of the family began showing up there. As a child, Alianor Geminine ran out of his home in Salvus, his father dying in battle, and his mother missing (presumed dead). Alianor found himself in Ildon, where Merek was taking position of Baron of Ildon. 

 

After many years, Merek decided to step down from his position of baron, and allowed Aliestor to take his place. After much time, house Geminine wanted to be freed from their liege under house Elendil, to settle land of their own. After much consideration, Artorus allowed them to do so, and they settled in 

the land of Simonia, which is in the southernmost part of Westfall. Aliestor had always been rather friendly with a lot of women, and many of his children are thought to be among us. 

 

After five years of running the newly settled land of Simonia, Aliestor passed suddenly, and with nobody stepping into position of charge, Ser Alianor Geminine took it upon himself to take charge of Simonia, and start the noble lineage from himself, where he one day planned to one day give power to his only son, Taron Geminine. 

 

Upon moving to the The Isle of Elysium Alianor has took on the position as the Grand Justice of Oren, and the known part of the family rested in a manor in Oren.

 

Taron had a child with Kiara Rose, who left him and the child- making it an illegitimate baby. Most of the remaining known family split apart, the family almost dying off, forgotten about for years.

 

After receiving a letter from Angelika about five years after the disappearance of Taron and Alinor, Megan Geminine decided to attempt to rebuild the family.

 

Note- Geminines typically have blonde or dark brown hair with trademark green eyes.

Brief biography- 

Born to Areya Rose, Megan Geminine was John’s only full sister. He is 7 years younger than her. His father, returned to Areya after 7 years, Areya falling pregnant once again, before he left. They both grew up in a very small house, their mother a prostitute. Areya did care for them both, but was unable to care for them properly. Megan left the house at the age of 17 to find the other side of her family, the noble side. At the age of 18, John decided to do the same ((this is where the RP begins)) 

-Side note, Aliestor had another child named Areya after Megan (who is now 

dead), it is unknown as to whether he named her after Megan and John’s mother.- 

  

 

Harrison Geminine 

Parents- William Geminine and Elizabeth Geminine 

Siblings- Maia Geminine, Jacob Geminine 

Current age- 25

Brief biography- 

Growing up very comfortably, as the first child Harrison lived with his siblings until he turned 18, and in the traditional Geminine manor, he left to explore the world. His parents believed he would be able to choose who to court, and did not assign someone to him. He has a main role in decision making 

in of the family. 

 

Henry Geminine

Brief biography- 

 

The youngest son of Malen and Kathryn Geminine, Henry recently left home in search of a job and a family. He also seeks a home, and hopes to learn to fight- his dream to one day become a knight. 

  

 

Seymour Geminine 

Parents- Aliestor Geminine and –unknown- 

Siblings- Megan Geminine, Seymour Geminine, Areya Geminine 

Current age- 20 

Brief biography- 

Looking at the gap in ages, Seymour’s mother must have conceived him during the time that Aliestor had left Areya Rose (with Megan), but had not yet returned. Seymour also grew up with his mother, a farming peasant that was still obviously in love with Aliestor. She constantly talked about him, enough for him to realise when he was older that she could be slightly insane. After caring for 

his mother for a long time, she died when he was 16, leaving him to fend for himself. He managed to secure himself a house through lying about his age and name, but had no means or knowledge on where to contact the Geminine family. ((Until he receives the bird with a letter...)) 

 

  

L.A Geminine 

Parents-Malen Geminine and Kathryn Geminine

Brief biography- 

The eldest child of Malen and Kathryn Geminine, L.A was set to inherit most of 

their money and property. He was prepared for this and decided to leave home to 

adventure before returning and claiming his inheritance. He has a say in 

important matters concerning the Geminine household. 

 

Jacob Geminine

Brief biography- 

 

Having just left the home of his parents, Jacob is adventurous and eager to see the world. He grew up alongside his siblings to very caring parents.

Why you are the best applicant for this character?- I believe I am the best applicant for this character becuase first of all , I can be flexible with my time, meaning you want to play and I can too. I believe you need Somone who is loves roleplay like I do, someone who will really think out this character. Take the time to develop him.

Character skills (Taught by mother, father etc.)- I would like to say that my mother taught me to be studios. I love to read and write, a promising scribe and author some day all recourse of my mothers ways. My father, a cold man only taught me one thing. To not mess things up. I would like to say he taught me how to negotiate and understand business , law if you will. Both parents wanted Harrison to be successful intellectually, both showed it in different ways

Character weaknesses)- Harrison, having grown up more comfortably that other children makes him arrogant and vain. He cares more about his looks than a man in need of food on the streets. This is his biggest weakness and may cause a lot of trouble. He would rather buy a new wardrobe then help someone else. He comes first. Only other people he puts on front of himself are certain s Geminies. If he decides he does not like ou, prepare for some mistreatment an rudeness all around. ))

Why you are the best applicant for this character?- I believe myself a good RP-er, and always wanted to play a bastard of a noble house. I will love to play this character, and am sure I will do it well.

 

Character skills (Taught by mother, father etc.)- Seymour was bigger and stronger than the other children he played with, when he was younger. He grew up, getting stronger from helping his mother with her work on the wheat fields, and carrying flour sacks to help the local baker. His mother wasn't able to read nor write, but one of his friends, son of a rich silk trader, teached it to him. At the age of 16, when his mother died, and he wasn't able to pay the taxes anymore, he was out on himself. He managed to get work as a guard, by lying about his age and name. He was very strong, but didn't have any skill with a weapon, so the Guard captain decided he should be trained to fight with heavy weapons, and he was. He learned how to fight with a Greataxe, aswell as how to use heavy armor efectively, how to ride a horse, how to fight without a weapon, and other things a guard should know.

 

Character weaknesses- Seymour is very stubborn, and doesn't like to follow orders, which gives him the natural ability to get into fights. He doesn't consider himself a full member of the Geminine family, for being a bastard, and suffers a bit because of that. He is not very agile, for being big and heavy.

 

Character personality- A few aspects of his personality are stated in the weaknesses. Seymour has a natural "ability" to get himself into trouble. That, combined with his flirty personality and the constant need to have women around himself, aswell as his loose tongue, gets him into a lot of trouble.
